I really like the way you set up the competition in this first chapter with Brian and Brandon as colleagues, friends, and competitors. I'd love to watch Brian with Dave Hanson; what a scorching hot scene!
Really intriguing that Justin's name is only mentioned on the list and again at the end of the chapter . . .

very bad influence...since I am still reading Spin and Fall at home, I had to take The List in to work with me...and got very little actual work done since I couldn't put it down
I absolutely love the way you write Brian, yearning but not sure for what, torn between life as he knows it and wanting something more, at once completely in character and so AU it should be uncomfortable to watch, and yet leaves the reader only wanting more
Brian's running dialog with himself shows just how far out of his own comfort level he is stepping in order to pursue his blonde - why am I eating lunch at the diner 3 days in a row...how can holding him feel better than fucking...I might have a crush...it might be more...WTF...
