Were you the one in my head a few weeks ago when I was thinking how interesting it would be if Brian and Justin had a Mrs. Winterbourne story? lol
That movie is a favorite of mine and I really like your version of the story so far, I can't wait to see what happens next for Brian and Justin.
Ciaran is such a beautiful name I can understand why Brian would choose it, I like that Joan is doing some match making for Brian it brings a certain charm to the story.:)

LOL. Great minds and all. I love Mrs. Winterbourne so much. After chapter one it veers way off from the movie because I didn't want it to be predictable. I like the name too. I'm trying to speed up what we all want Justin and Brian TOGETHER.

I'm already liking this fic! It's tragic what Justin has endured and now with the mistaken identity, who knows what it will lead to next! Brian a closet case and Joan has a heart?? Well stranger things have happened but this premise is no less engaging in this Alternate universe! Perhaps things will progress sooner than later between Brian and Justin with Joan in their corner- even if it's secretly for now. I can definitely see her in cahoots with Vic and Deb later down the line.
As expected, Craig and Chin-Rat Bastard are evil! Something tells me that we haven't seen the last of the former, and latter....well can't nothing good cone from his greedy ass. I wouldn't be surprised of two things: 1)That he is the mysterious 'Patrick' that was just lied on at the table or 2) Ether (I call him that because all of his boring pickup lines in canon were enough to put me to sleep) will try to blackmail Justin with the truth ahould he discover that Justin has taken Brandon's identity.
Definitely interesting twists and turns to be had here and I'm looking forward to the next updates of this and "Be Good to Him."

I'm glad you're liking it. I know what in the world is going on with Brian and Joan, lol. The question of who Patrick is will be answered in the next chapter. I already wrote it down on my notepad now just have to type it up. After I do that I'm going to work on the next chapter of BGTH, it's mostly written but I pick apart every little bit like twelve times.

It reminds me a French film from 1983 (J'ai épousé une ombre) based on "I Married a Dead Man" from William Irish. I didn't read the book, but I loved the film.
I love how you prepared the drama to come (in addition to the one that just happened).

I have to say I love the start of this story. Brian going to have his work cut out for him. I love Brian having a twin brother, an umm question did he and his twin get along? Will Brian be the one taking care of his brother's children? Will Brandon get his member back? How will Justin and Brian meet?

I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far. They got along but it was strained. Brandon died along with Ardan and thier baby in the crash. Justin has been mistaken for Brandon. I'm sorry.

What a twist. Brian with a twin brother who is married. Justin with Ethan who is not a nice person. Brandon married to the twin and Pregnant. Justin pregnant in New York. Then you throw in a train wreck. I've got to know more!
