Michael is the most pathetic and selfish person ever. Brian was right not to tell him. I was always pissed that he knew in the series and that he broke Justin's trust by selfishly blabbing to Brian that he knew. Brian ended up taking care of him and Michael's need for sympathy while Justin got kicked to the curb. Even typing that I feel my hackles rise all over again! So glad that even though they had to redo this arc, Brian and Justin got it RIGHT!
Emmett is such a darling and as friends go, so different from Michael. Not only does he respect Brian but he also respects Justin's place in Brian's life. Sure he could have pitched a bitch for being one of the last to know about Brian's condition but as a true friend, he didn't care about the whys, hows and wheretofores just about Brian being okay. Is there any wonder why I love him and love writing about him? Emmett is definitely the Anti-Mikey!
Speaking of rightness.... The scene with Brian and Kira....<inhaling deeply and trying to stop the tears> It was so emotional regardless of how brief it was. My dad was my BFF and I would like to imagine that if I was going through something as traumatic as Brian, that God would give me those few moments to be with him again. Definitely a beautifully-written scene and one that is sure to stay in Brian's memories for a very long time.

The way you have worked out what can change and what can't is uncanny. It boggles my mind how you are able to do that. that Darren's attack is so significant in Emmett meeting Drew. So impressive that you've been able to do that. Starting to feel bad for Mailyn. LOL. Poor girl is really taking the brunt of their frustrations isn't she? Ah well...thus is teh life of a conduit between this world and the next. ;)

Good grief. Can Michael BE more selfish?! ARG! I just want to reach through and kick his sorry ass!! Thankfully it seems nobody is really siding with him at the moment. Lord help us when/if Lindsey finds out! What's going to happen when Michael tells absolutely everyone, whining about how Brian should've come to him rather than Justin. What will Deb do? Hmmmmmmmmm
Still continually amazed at you attention to detail in this. I look forward to this update everyday! Between this on and your other, how do you even have a life???

How is it Mikey still thinks they are best friends? Justin isn't invisible and Brian has made it clear again and again that he is with Justin. Mikey's delusions and Lindsay ridiculousness are astonishing!
I think the direct tough love is the best.

So sorry that while Brian and Justin were dealing with Brian's cancer they didn't take your feelings into consideration, they were just dealing with something traumatic and decided to put their feelings first....Sorry Michael.

I am so happy he doesn't know where Brian and Justin live so they can get some peace from his whiny voice.
Good that Deb won't live with regret this time when Vic dies she has the support she needs to help her through this sad time.
Emmett telling Michael to get over himself was good too bad Captain Pea-brian won't listen.
Just loved the part with the chicken soup it was so sweet and so Brian and Justin, it was good this time they were able to share this together cause it just strengthens their love for one another.
