Ha ha ha, Sam is back! I hope he will try to convince Lindsey to have a second chance and she will go for it. It should give Mel some "balls" to stop this farce of a marriage.

It was a nice change to not have Michael whining around. Do you think Lindsay's head will explode if they continue like this? That would be fun.

I was rereading the story again again when I thought occurred to me isn't the lease the girls sign for the Brownstone almost up?

I'm sure Zee and Faal wouldn't mind letting Mel and the kids stay longer because they respect the place, but Lindsay is treating it like she is going to stay forever and continues to disrespect Zee?

Zee is getting tired of Lindsay always implying that all the money comes from Faal but I think Zee is richer than Faal(?), Lindsay probably even thinks this house they are staying at is Faal's despite being told it was gifted to Zee?

Lindsay is about to meet another Hellcat and I don't think she is ready or prepared for what is in store. lol

Can't Wait!!

Author's Response:

Seriously your question is impeccable!  And Zee does everything for a reason!

C31 is about to be posted.

Hiya,

Not feeling well enough to write a long review. So just this: another great update.

Just a comment on the shoes: I'm not one of these women who have dozens of pairs of shoes, but I would gladly walk barefoot over broken glass and fight a grizzly bear if it would give me a pair of those amazing, gorgeous, come fuck me shoes.

XOXO

Meriam

Author's Response:

Hey doll,

Thanks for the review however short, have sent you an email.

Weren't they the most gorgeous things, now I have to admit to as well as being a major foodie that shoes are my other passion...no seriously I have oer a dozen dozen...and in honour of said come fuck me shoes I'm going to start saving for a pair, they are divine.

First off, I have to say...THIS chapter was SO worth waiting for (even if the wat really was only a few hours. lol) I admit, I was chomping at the bit to read it. SO good!!

2nd..LOVE the shoes! OMG...they are gorgeous!!

OK, so the meat and potatoes now. What an absoluely brilliantly successful evening for our little "urchins"! So proud! they pulled it off without a hitch and their gifts of appreciation at the end were amazing! what an amazing opportunity for them both. I think they will both become front and centre in Uptown gallery with incredibly bright futures ahead of them!

Lindsey seems to be in a perpetual state of "pissed off" throughout the evening, at varying degrees of course. I was so looking forward to you writing about that! It was sublime! Her surprise at the guest list...Sam...Mel being sent to table 3...both Emily adn Adam being there....francine's comment (which BTW...so good! I was definitely sniggering) It's like everywhere she turned, she was getting nailed. (and not in a positive way either)HAHA, the fact that she was 3rd choice for San Fran was yet another kick. To top it all off...absolutely no recognistion from Sydney! Absolutely icing on the cake!!

I have to say yet again, I cannot WAIT until she finds out that Justin will be part owner of the gallery!! EPIC!!!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Who the heck was that Campbell Lutz guy? Hmmm is he a blip or will he have further mention? He's definiltey a sleeze. (might be another perfect one for Lindsey. lol)

An Absofrigginglutely awesome awesome chapter! Oh I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next.

Grinning away like a fool here having enjoyed it so much.

Cheers,

Author's Response:

Thanks so much.  I scrolled for the shoes, having a fair few pairs of killas myself, I think I'm going to save up for my Zee shoes!

Yeah Lindsay got her ass kicked but only of her behaviour and her actions...thinking she could manipulate Francine by using veiled threats and then when Sam joined her table there was no way Mel could be left there.

Epic is an understatement when she finds out abou that...

Campbell Lutz was just a insignificant gap filler for Faal to protect Zee from his sleaziness and for Lydia to use her rapier tongue to see him off, he won't be mentioned again, not even Lindsey deserves him...but only by the smallest of margins!

Working on the first stage of Portland now...say hello again to Uncle Luc and Aunt Dee...

Glad you are still with me.

Happy reading

I loved the first story. I am struggling with this one to the point that I wait for multiple chapters before reading. I have hated Michael since the shows inception and Lindsay since season 5, yet I find myself thinking they are being ganged up on and I feel sorry for them.  Also, I am struggling with this interpretation of Justin. Only during season 2 in the aftermath of the bashing was he this emotional and that came out in fits of rage, not crying. I also loved Matt and Hunter in the first one, this time it seems like Hunter is being used as another way to hurt linds.

I don't think Mel would be in on the case due in part to her potential issue with the Bar Association and spousal privileges concerning Lindsay.

I reread and still cannot find the reason for Brian to abandon Lindsay BEFORE the Emily stuff happened and cannot fathom why she did not get a Christmas gift, from Brian.

It seems like things are being dug up to force Lindsay and Mel to breakup and it does appear as though outside forces i.e. Zee, Brian, Leda, Justin and Emmitt are involving themselves.

I will continue to check back in but I hate feeling sorry for characters I have hated for11 plus years.

Author's Response:

Glad that you loved the first story.

You like me hate these characters so I'm not sure where I've written their behaviours and lack of remorse, especially Michael, to engender sympathy for what they've done and continued to do, case in point, Michael deliberately sending Hunter's mother to his place of work so that he could play the hero to get back in Brian's good books.

On the Hunter point, he is being encouraged to reach his potential by Lydia, who doesn't denigrate him like Lyndsay, and Justin reacts emotionally because he's either happy or frustrated because he can't clobber them, as much as they deserve it.

I hope you do continue to check in but will understand if you do not.

Wow, I feel awful for Lyndsay.  Even if her and Mel are on the outs constantly interfering in their marriage is just wrong.  Taking Mel places without her and then leaving her at the table is harsh.  Not to mention the law suit (which irl Mel would be fined or disbarred for her part in the prep for). If Mel wants out she should just leave. When you manipulate things to avoid manipulation you can become what you are trying to avoid. Don't get me wrong, Lydsay is a pill but between the cloths, work, the lawsuit, the wedding party trip and the outings she's seeming more atracked than attacking.

I'm still reading along, but with one eye closed (I hate siding with Lyndsay).

I'm glad Faal found Zee and helped her.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! (Being thankful is universal tho the holiday is American)

Thanks for writing!

Author's Response:

You're welcome!  I'm glad you will still read albeit with one eye closed for now, but think I should answer your points:

No-one is interferring in the marriage but Lindsay, she has always run to Brian whenever there was a problem or used Gus as an excuse for trying to run aspects of Brian's life.  She's also blantantly flirting with Faal in front of Zee and Mel.

With regards to the lawsuit, Mel has made a statement to Joshua as to her knowledge of the email address and was shown the contents, she asked Adam not to serve at home and that's all she has done and all she will do.

As for the clothes, these were a special present to Mel from Brian and Justin to thank her for bringing Gus home from Canada and were part custom made for her, she asked Lindsay not to wear them but she did anyway behind her back, so the lockdown was again her fault.

Work wise, she's at fault because she is not moving along with the changes and feels entitled to do what she wants because she used to work there before and has taken advantage of that.  Lydia is different to Sydney and won't put up with her behaviour.

If by outings you mean the tasting for Sydney's party she was at a showing and couldn't come anyway.

Mel was taken from the table because Sam Auerbach, the man Lindsay had an affair with was sitting there, it wasn't fair on Mel especially as he said that he would be meeting up with Lindsay in San Francisco and she didn't say anything.

As for the wedding party, maybe I used the wrong phrase, the New York weekend is a thank you from Brian and Justin to those attending the wedding in a special capacity not just as a guest, which is what Lyndsey would be, so for her to want to come along isn't fair on any other guest.

Lindsay's other behaviour has caused her problems as people react to it, she has lied to Emily, she deceived Brian as to the real reason she wanted a baby, she's not shown Brian the parental rights letter that she told Gus and Mel she would, saying she would discuss it with Brian and she's not done that either.  Also she's not told Mel about the support payments she's also received from Justin.

Yes Mel should get out and she will but she's also got to make sure she does it right.  She's giving up her parental rights to Gus so that Brian can get his back.

I do hope you stay with me to the end to see how this plays out.

Happy Thanksgiving too...sadly in the UK we don't have that but we have taken on the Black Friday sales with gusto.

Sydney thanked and gifted the people who have become important to him because he sees that they have the potential to go.

Lindsay got nothing because she deserves nothing I mean the Heifer didn't even deserve a backhanded compliment besides who wants to compliment a cow for saying Moo?

I wonder did her face match the dress the no one noticed but she thought was more important than making sure her kids eat dinner??

She has a better shot with Sam I mean he will sleep with anyone and Lindsay can be considered anyone, plus Sam won't object to the cobwebs he might be inspired to paint it and name Lindsay as the inspiration. (Dark, Dry and Stank sounds like a good name <evil smile>)

Adam showed Lindsay that unlike Sam she isn't memorable and worth talking to for another second, now Leda he would love to talk to and she is very memorable and a sexy woman.

Zee in a tux is Hot now she gets praise when she walks into a room Lindsay just gets a meh and a ' Who is that?'.

Lindsay didn't notice that Martine called Lydia Aunt Lydie I bet that comes back to bite her, that mirror Lindsay carries around must be getting awfully heavy by now?

Go back to the gallery after this beautiful night should be fun for Lindsay?

CRACKKK!! The can't under the strain much longer.

You are saving the big reveal about who Zee is for Portland right after Uncle Luc and Aunt Dee meet the Whiny Brigade? <Evil Grin> You little Mercenary!!

Short but Insightful a nice build up for the axe ;)

Author's Response:

I'm going to start a petition on our FaceBook page for you and Nichelle to do a book of phrases and insults...seriously...Dark Dry and Stank - seriously evil and hilarious!

Lindsay doesn't notice that isn't anything to do with her immediate thoughts, words and deeds and that's why she always finds her actions biting her in that flat ass of hers!

Mercenary who me...damn straight!

Oh there's a bit of a way for the axe...there's San Fran, the stag dos, New York, the Brett Keller event and then I might do a rehearsal dinner and of course the wedding and post wedding shenanigans.

Wow!  That was some going away party.  I'm not sure why Lindsay is surprised that Brian, Justin and Faal or there.  She's gonna be more surprised to find Ben and Steve were invited.  Lord knows who would have been invited if she'd been in charge of the invites.  Love how Brian got Melanie moved to his and Justin's table where all the important people are.  Just who was Campbell Lutz and how did he get invited.  Giving a trip to Japan to Martine and Hunter is the best.  Lindsay only gets to go to San Francisco for a couple of days.  hehe.  Love, love, love the shoes.

Author's Response:

I did enjoy writing the party out and dropping the guest bombs along the way.  Brian was showing his sweet side to Mel, by moving her away from Sam Auerbach, would you want to sit at the same table as your wife's ex-lover...shudder!

Campbell Lutz was just a reason d'etre for Faal to protect Zee from odious advances, Sydney just didn't spot he was still on there.

Oh the shoes weren't they marvellous!

WHOO-HOO!!! GREAT Party with some notable names for Lindz to never forget again...LOL I was floored and in awe of your machiavellian inner workings of your mind. It was pure genius to have Sam there in addition to Emily and Francine. Thank goodness Brian had Mel move to table 3 where she belonged in the first place. Lindsay looking like thunder in the end was well-deserved. I sooooo LOVED how she kept getting shot down at every turn. Bitch have several seats!!

Conrad the cunt was really pushing his luck with Zee. Lydia is a lifesaver- literally! LOL I think if she had five more seconds, she would have floored the bastard.

Sydney's parting gift to Hunter, Martine and Em and Zee was so moving! He truly believes in each one of them and wants a part in cultivating their gifts and helping them to flourish. One would think that would be a lesson to Lindsay on how to mentor and garner respect but I doubt it. The egotistical idiot can think passed the fact that she didn't receive recognition for being an uppity shrew. I really hope that Mel doesn't 'soothe her fractured ego but lets her wallow in the glow of her own failure as a decent mature human being.

I can't wait for the court case with Emily and Adam. BTW... I loved the way he dissed her! So needed and well-deserved! She's as memorable as a bad case of crabs- once one is over the discomfort, they would be a fool to go back to the source of the pain again. And any interaction with Sargeant Pain-in-the-Ass definitely fits the bill!

Looking forward to MORE!!

Happy Writing and HUGS,

~Nichelle
