Whoa!!! What an explosive and revealing chapter!
So, Brian was in NY with Justin for a few weeks/months? What an amazing information. No wonder they are monogamous.
Jenny is as feisty as her mother, she doesn't let anything go with Lindsay and Michael.

Wow, I didn't expect it to go down like this. I mean I knew the day would come but I thought it would be a while. I hope Mel has the guts to keep it that way.

I'm thoroughly enjoying Jenmy more and more every chapter. While she may be inquisitive about the "social standings" of particular "circles" I got the impression that her line of questioning was intenional. She specifically wanted to push Lindsey's buttons.
Interaction between Michael and Justin was great! LOL! Really enjoyed that smack down. Michael STILL seems to think he's special (well, he is, just not in the way he thinks nor in a way that one would want to be deemed as "special".;) ) I mean, when is teh guy going to stop with the smugness? He's been shot down, put down and smacked down so many times....you'd think he's learn at some point! He's trying to get people to argue amongst themselves I guess by insinuating things about he and Brian, all the while assuming Justin doesn't know anything (wrong), THEN he makes comments about Ben, and putting emphasis on himself once again. Once again however being shot down. Both he and Lindsey should learn their lessons, however, watching the smack downs is just to much fun from out perspective.
I absolutely could not believe the way Lindsey spoke to Jenny!! My jaw dropped! I surprised there wasn't a massive take down of her physically! And really........when the hell did she become such a bloody prude? We've seen her over adn over again makeing some comment about B&J or whoever having sex in whose ever home. i mean seriously...I so want to smack her! lol.
I'm thinking Michael and Lindsey are so bloody suportive of each other, perhaps they need to get together...I mean, Michael's already made out with a woman. (BAHAHAHA) and we already know Lindsey is bi. (Seriously, the idea completel grosses me out, I'm just kidding!!) I definitely think though, that since Mel has told her to leave, that she should just go live with Michael. i'm dying to know what happens when they find out that Zee now owns it.
I cannot describe how much I LOVED this update! I've read it about 3 times just to be able to get every nuance...and to just keep reliving the great smackdowns M&L so richly deserved!
To say "I can't wait for the next update" isn't even close to my anticiaption level!

Oh yes Miss Jenny is happily taking potshots at her momma and she's too blinded by Faal/Brian/living through Justin now through Hunter to see it! And therein lies the problem with M&L their rose coloured glasses view of themselves. Michael can't accept that he is nothing in Brian's life and wasn't that much before, yes he was his best friend but then Justin came along and snatched him without bye or leave. And for him to find out that it was Hunter's presence that made Ben stop the steroids was fun to write.
Lindsay's prudishness is plain jealousy...she can't understand why everyone is having more sex than her...I suggest a mirror for her in and outside.
Having Lindsay speak to Jenny that way was needed for it to be the start of the push for Mel to get some distance betweeen them and the fact that Jenny was going to be the adult and apologise speaks more about her than Lindsay.
No I already shuddered over Ted's double headed dildo comment I think that's enough togetherness for them for now...though the author reserves the right to change her mind.
And there is a nice surprise waiting for someone, I think I may have given it away a tad in C40 but I don't think anyone will mind.
This was one of my favourite chapters to write. Especially the smackdowns!

Love Jenny learning about social mores. Then there is Michael's little tado with Justin. When will he learn he's never going to win? Lindsay has told more lies. Hope she gets called on them. There is a lot of money being bantered around in this chapter. So much fun. Lindsay going off on Jenny, so not good. Mel finally threw the witch out after Leda showed her and Michael the door. Great chapter.

OMGAWD! HOLY SHIT!!
I had to read the chapter twice and I still can't believe what happened?
Jenny went after Lindsay and it makes me proud. Nice reveal about Lindsay implying Gus was conceived naturally :)
Hunter put Michael and Lindsay in their place another proud moment :) That was nice of him to get the motorbikes
Even Deb and Carl threw in their $20 worth
Justin firmly established for Lindsay that just because she pushed New York doesn't mean she gets to bask in his success, no one applauds the tenor for clearing his throat (Dangerous Liaisons reference lol).
Both of them acting like jealous lovers got Bitch slapped twice, first by Leda and then Mel raised her hand and laid it down on Lindsay by kicking her out of the Brownstone.
That Was My Favorite Part!!! rofl
Oh Man Chapter 40 is going to be Very Interesting.

so Linday and Michael are mad that Brian lied and said he was in Chicago for a while when he was actually in New York with Justin? They were ok with Chicago, since no Justin, but his location was THAT big a deal to them... they make me want to spit in their faces (ultimate insult in my opinion)

Kaboom indeed!
This chapter made me want to cry out: Are you ready to rumble!!
A sparring match for the family and a first round of blows for Mickey and the first uppercut for Lindsay.
They will be black and blue by the time the match is over for this was only a warm up wasn't it. I felt Zee was keeping way, way back. If she's gonna loose it I wouldn;t want to be around cause it ain't gonna be nice. Coffins could be involved.
Now all I have to do is to wait to see Whiney and Blondie: vol op hun muil gaan. They are stumbling already.
The absolute ruthlessness and utter smugness of Lindsay towards Hunter and Jenny had me foaming at the mouth. Yay to Mel. She's finally seeing the light isn't she. I will never understand how she put up with Lindz that long. And way to go Jenny and Hunter for telling both Lindsay and Michael off. And Hunter wanting to share his wealth just shows how grown up and loving he has become. He has become one heck of a man and way more adult than his "lovely father" ever will be.
Justin's reaction towards Michael had me running for the loo. And yes I made it in time. Lindsay's reaction to Hunter and Matt and Brian and Justin having sex in the house made me in stitches. OMG she acts like such a victorian old biddy. Like she never had sex before. Her blatant jealousy! We all know she hasn't had a decent roll in the sack for ages. Maybe she could get some from Michael a he isn't adverse to snogging a lesbian (hihihihi)
And Leda kicking Blondie and Whiney out made me run for the bathroom again. That flee infested hovel is drawing nearer and nearer.
Thank you for a wonderful afternoon with lots of laughter. This surely took the edge of my anxiety.
Looking forward to the next chapter.

Ding-ding and everyone back to their corners...and absolutely she was kept away Faal knows how to handle his girl.
Her sense of hauteur is absolute and smackable...and Michael being so yellow bellied and indignant that Brian should spend time supporting Justin when he needed him was great to write, there's more to come on that.
