Interesting that you bring up when Mel moved out the show never properly explained how Lindsay needed money to pay bills cause Mel left her without.
Lindsay lied and used Gus to get Brian to fork over money he needed for himself and once he started giving her money she took advantage as much as she could, just like Michael.
Not surprised about Emmett he was always seemed like he had hidden depths.
Do agree with Justin that the friendship Brian, Ted and Emmett shared with Michael seemed unbelievable and unbalanced because they are working towards their dreams while Michael expects everything to handed to him on a gold platter.
Looks like Mel is looking to improve her present so her future will be Amazing and Lindsay will be left behind. (Just like Michael)

I always thought Peter would be the one who would be more like Brian and want to get away from The Witches??
Joan like Lindsay enjoys being superior while looking down her nose at those she believes are inferior, plus she likes the attention she gets when she spews her hatred and disapproval.
Of course Claire and Joan should know better than to go up against Jennifer and Justin again, but I doubt they will and they will regret it :)
Mel going to Florida to see her dying father with Brian and Justin is good, they will have her back if they try to browbeat her.
Lindsay might whine about Mel leaving but I think she will be too busy with Michael looking for Brian.
Need to come up with a plan that will distract them so everyone else can get away.
Deb not knowing about the money is good because unintentionally she will tell Michael and Lindsay and they will pounce.
I doubt we have seen the last of The Hobbs?

Riveting!! Not surprised at all about Chris's revelation. No shit he actually wanted them both!! Interesting statement from Brian though. that Chris is Michael an dLindsey wrapped up into 1. That is totally spot on. Until Brain made that statment, I never would've considered that.
Mel has a lot on her plate right now. I hope her parents don't make it worse. I know her father is dying, but she doesn't want the last visit to be like Biran's was with Jack. Hopefully her parents will be more accepting. If not, at least B&J will be there to tell the a few truths.
what are Joan and claire upto? Will this be the last we see of them? I doubt it. They need to meddle and vilify Brian. I can see them trying to get back and Jenn. Hehehe. Oh I'd love to see them try. Would be amusing!

My Darling DARLING Chris! It is so good to see you over here on KD! I'm so thrilled that you are enjoying this rewrite with is both AU dosed heavily with Canon events. I can't tell you what a joy it is to right some major wrongs and create several new ones!
As for updating, I'm in the process of finishing the SIDEBARS for this SOWK Part I out, but don't worry...there is PLENTY more drama to be had throughout this installment, leading to Part 2. The original 'Part 2 (which as you recall was actually written first)' will be phased into this work at some point, but not quite yet. Surprise twists and turns await and I hope that you enjoy every single second of it!
In the meantime, I have been an exceptionally busy gal on here and have several WIPs both open and finished. The "Time's Up" series is finally done as is "Mr. and Mr Taylor-Kinney" so if you haven't done so, feel free to check them out. Also there are some amazingly gifted writers here to keep you screaming at the screen! I'm very fortunate to be among them.

I'm so glad that you are enjoying this. I'm not sure that Brian will be called back to the stand at this point to talk about his visits to the hospital. Since Justin's stay at AGH and his recovery afterwards deviates significantly from canon, it's pretty common knowledge that Brian has been there throughout. A large part of this particular territory was covered within Jennifer's testimony regarding Justin's power of attorney. Also, Brian's display of lost temper and subsequent answering of medical questions put the depth his involvement into perspective for all within the courtroom.
He might be called back to the stand, based on the testimonies of Spike and Tyke to refute some claims. I'm hoping to spare him that trauma as the author, but honey, these characters have developed a mind of their own. LOL

Justin told him that he would learn the Jedi mind-trick and it seems as if he's learned his lesson well here. I'm looking forward to many more instances where he picks up a few pointers from Jen and Justin- the true Padme and Luke of WASP! He'll live up to Justin's 'Yoda' moniker for him yet, LOL

Yep! Brian's reflections on the differences between his relationships with Justin, Michael and Lindsay was indeed very eye-opening for him. He finally beginning to see that some childhood friendship are meant to stay in childhood and that age doesn't necessarily mean maturity. Unfortunately, it's a hard lesson he's had to learn and there are still going to be some repercussions from it felt for a long time, which will also affect the people he's considered family for so long.
As for Justin, I am so proud of how he handled everything. Like Brian told him, he's being reforged and remade. The good news is that even while he's in the process of reinventing himself, parts of who he was- those core fundamentals that made Justin who he was- are beginning to surface once again. He's still got a long way to go, but what a start!

LOL! Blue, trust me when I tell you that shit is going to hit the proverbial fan when Lindsay finds out who she's been trying to play fast and loose with. Not only are we talking about Jennifer's son, but George Schickle's nephew, too. Indeed, Justin's heritage AND his inheritance makes the Petersons look like they need government assistance. Nancy and Ron know which is why they told Lindsay that they wouldn't help her destroy Jennifer Taylor's son. I think Lindsay had better think twice about pushing Justin, a young man who grew up within a very powerful family and who now has very limited patience with Brian's best fuckups.
Plus let's not forget that Justin with the sale of the Taylor Electronics franchise and all of the property Craig had in Justin's name...well, let's just say that we should all grab an umbrella of concrete for the golden showers of bricks that Lindsay is bound to excrete. And LAWD AHM TURKEY and GRITS when Michael (cause you know she's going to have to share it with someone, right?) find out, look for the tears and tantrums without the tiaras, honey! He won't be able to use his gold-digging one-liner in reference to Justin anymore. Whatever shall he do?
