I'm glad that Lindsay advised Brian to tell Justin first. It was definitely something that should have come from his partner, even though most of them wouldn't have used the knowledge to hurt Justin. Emmett finally lighting into Michael's ass was LONG OVERDUE! It's amazing that Michael was so busy spouting that no one in the 'family' should have secrets from him and Deb yet he was perfectly content with hiding his own idiocy and viciousness; absolutely fine with everyone blaming Brian for an apparent loss of control while he came off looking like an abused friend and victim.
As for Deb... It's amazing how one set of rules goes for everyone else except for her and most of the time, Michael. She sees nothing wrong with her sticking her mouth in Brian/Justin and Mel/Lindsay's business regarding their baby but tells Michael that what happened between Brian-Justin-Ethan was none of his affair? Pot calling the Kettle a spoon, much Deb? I'm glad that Justin has decided to take a page from Mel and Lindsay's book and to agree with Brian that they should not return to Pittsburgh. Of course I feel sorry for Emmett, Blake and Ted to be stuck there having to put up with the Whine Brigade but those four really do need peace. They've earned it! As for Rage... if Justin picks it back up at a later date fine but for right now, I agree that he needs much distance from any sort of relationship- friendship or business partnership- with Michael. I wonder how Ben is going to take the news... well that is, if Michael even grows a set of balls to tell him the truth and ruin his perfection in yet another person's eyes.

Poor Ben. Michael and Deb are pissing him off and Emmett seems to be the only one to see it. Utoh, Hunter gave Brian and Justin up. Not good. How did he know? Love how Ben and Ted try to explain why they didn't let Deb know they were in town, for all the good it did them. Now Ben's pissed and Mikey has set Emmett off. Now Jen knows and I love the move with the cake, but at least she told Deb. I like how you bring Tucker and Ted to calm Jennifer down. At least everyone is trying not to hurt Justin, except maybe Michael.

Brian and Justin talking about the time Justin stayed with Michael and Ben is big. I'm glad that Justin is willing to sell Britin. I love how Justin says the house isn't his home that Brian is. The only one that moving away wasn't an answer for was Michael. Why does he think that because it didn't work for him it won't work for anyone else? I can understand why Ben isn't pleased with him, he's got a one track mind. Ted gives him wonderful advice and he's not listening. Perhaps Jennifer should go up to see Mel and Linds. It certainly seem that there will be problems if they go to Pittsburgh.

Debbie has a lot of nerve calling Jennifer before Justin could talk to her. I think it's going to be difficult to always tell Jennifer first. It's nice how supportive Emmett and Ted are. I see that the only the main people in Brian and Justin's lives know why Brian hit Mikey at the party. Trying to keep away from Mikey is a problem especially when he decides to stop in NY where B&J aren't. Justin is almost as bad as Michael when it comes to the baby, but at least he's only reading and not following Melanie around whining.

Well the secret of Michael's spite is FINALLY out!! And he can't backpeddle his ass out of it. Jen was a real lady about it though. Honestly, Michael would still be picking my toenails out of his throat from when I shoved my foot up his ass. I have to say- and it pains me to say this- but they are right not to tell Justin although I doubt it will stay a secret for long. No doubt that since Debbie knows, she'll feel the need to apologize for birthing the Idiot King. All the rest of them can do is to support Brian as he holds Justin through the pain of the revelation. I really feel bad for all of them!
As for Deb, it is hoped that she has learned a valuable lesson regarding her need to be told everything. Sometimes, people try to protect others from withholding the truth which was not only applicable to Justin, but to Deb too. Now those rose-colored glasses about that dewy-eyed fool she gave birth to, has come off. Perhaps she'll eventually feel that she was better off NOT knowing just how vicious and thoughtless Michael really is.
Michael is playing with FIRE!! Emmett's account of that tick and tightness in Ben's face is very telling. Michael's inability to see that he doesn't need to approve and cosign every move they all make in their lives is allowing the one person he SHOULD be concerned about to slip away. And in the end, he'll have no one left to blame but himself. I would say that I feel sorry for Michael being dense and dumb but you know... the way my feelings are set up, hmmm I just... I just... I just CANNOT feel sorry for the Dork!

I'll begin this review by pointing out that Deb and Michael need chops to their throats!! I mean, REALLY?!! They just have to have an opinion about what everyone else is doing with their lives and all major decisions MUST be run by them, whether it affects them directly or not? Their collective nosiness disturbs me in ways that even I- a writer- cannot express adequately enough. For Deb to go running to Jen with not only the fact that Justin and Mel decided to have a baby but to whine and complain that Michael's childish, over-bearing ass was NOT wanted as a sperm donor again was not only idiotic but spiteful as well.
As for Captain Loudmouth, how is he an authority on anything? Really, Sir? REALLY?! He's as big a baby as JR except that his mealy-mouthed behind is out of diapers. Michael runs to Mommy every time things don't go his way to 'tattle' on the rest of the group. Personally, I'm glad that Brian and Justin are finding ways to work things out for themselves and now I also see the wisdom of Melanie using the bombing as an excuse to escape the Nosy Novotnys. Deb may mean well but Michael is a manipulating, controlling know-nothing who needs to concentrate on his own life instead of fixating and trying to manuever the others into positions where his needs will always be met. Why can't he take care of Deb by himself? Or why does he feel that he has the right to tell anyone- including his mother- where to live? This little..... LAWD HAM TURKEY! He's such a scared, selfish and self-absorbed shit! GROW UP MICHAEL!!!
If Brian and Justin are going to be selling Britin and staying in New York, might I suggest either Brookville, which is located in Nassau County on Long Island or Briarcliff Manor which is in Westchester County. Both are about 30 minutes from NYC (Briarcliff to the North; Brookville is Southeast) and have landscapes similar to Britin's although maybe not quite as vast. Perhaps Lindsay and Melanie would fall in love with the area as much as Brian and Justin will. One thing will be certain though... Michael and Debbie will NOT be able to just pop over for a visit (which is in reality an unwanted intervention).
I really feel for Ben and Carl..SMH!

You bring up two important points for me a) why would Justin go to Mikey? Well, he wouldn't that was a major flaw b) what did Mikey do to help Brian after Justin left? Nothing. The same thing he always did. He never helped Brian beyond S1.
You shouldn't run from people you should face them down explain your position and move forward. However growing up with giant brothers I also know you pick your battles. All that's to say Deb and Mikey are really annoying to make them sell a house and move.

It's amazing how Michael manages to twist things around. Love how Brian tries to get Mikey to see reason. Not that it will work. Even Ben telling Michael how he messed up didn't work. Now the Review:
I think Brian was wrong to gloss over what Michael said (The writers did it on the show too which pissed me off!!)and take the blame from the Family as usual, you don't say something that hateful and hurtful unless you mean it.
That is the whole problem in a nutshell as long as they could all excuse it by saying: 'Michael didn't mean it, his mouth just runs off' they could continue to believe Michael was the nice one and Brian is the Bastard, it just allowed Michael to get away with saying and doing whatever he wants because he has a Get Out of Jail Free Card that never expires.
It also excuses Debbie for giving into to his childish behavior and her continued need to ignore his snide,snarky rude comments, Michael treats her and everyone else like Shit but still he is her precious baby boy who can do no wrong.
You two don't get to be involved in everyone else's lives but hold onto your privacy with an iron fist.
Debbie and Michael deserve a dose of their own medicine so they can understand the meaning of boundaries or they will continue to run roughshod over everyone.
This isn't a family it is a Dictatorship! :(
