WHOA Michael went from calm to psychotic in a nono-second and now Ben is seeing that he should have listened to Brian and stayed away. (Damn That Gave Me Chills!!)
Ben is lucky Justin is willing to help because anyone else would let him deal with this on his own especially after the crap he pulled letting Michael believe that Justin was hitting on him.
Even Dan in a way believes that Ben should be left to fester in his own muck, but as a lawyer he is going to do what he can to help Ben and prove how big of a liar Michael is.
I like Dan because he is direct (like Brian) and knows better than to piss off Justin if he wants to remain friends.
Brian knows that he has nothing to worry about concerning Dan he is just determined to not fall into whatever scheme Michael is hatching.
I think Deb is just going to have to face that Brian is not going to come running every time they call.
I was not expecting Michael to go that far and it worries me just how much further he is willing to go to get Brian?

Micheal deserves every single bit of crap that's going to eventually come his way. He has absolutely no sense onf morality or integrity at all. He'll go to any length to get what he wants no matter who he hurts in the wake of his machinations. He is such a piece of shit it's unbelievable. what did mean exactly when he said, he was making sure he got what he wanted when he married Ben. Was it to make Brian jealous? Cause...that really hasn't worked out for him has it? He's just a deluded ass.
Glad Brian is keeping out of Michael's games to a degree. Not sure what Michael or Deb's reaction will be when they find out that he got a lawyer for Ben mind you. that he dodn't go running to Michael. Deb is going to find out just how far gone Michael really is.
I like Dan. Dan is a good guy. No threat to B&J's realtionship and willing to give Brian a dit bit of advise even. He's right that Ben needs counselling. Steroids of Crystal, addiction is addiction. Will he be going to the same clinic that Blake is working at I wonder? Ben needs to stop being mad at Brian. Not his fault. I like that Dan is honest about hsi feelings towards Ben. Ben has dug a massive hole for himself that he needs to eventually get himself out of. He hasn't done himself any favours by ignoring some major truths.

That psychotic little bastard!!! OMG!! I hope they fry Michael's ass in oil on the way to jail. Good for Dan noticing what apparently the cops were too busy believing Michael's ass to see... there are no defensive wounds on the alleged criminal. HA!!! I swear a turnip has more brains than Michael and yet he's getting Debbie to believe him. Now that's saying a whole lot. Don't get me wrong, I would defend my kids too but only AFTER checking out all the facts. If they were wrong, they would take their punishment and either learn from it or let it control them by becoming bitter. Debbie really should have to take parenting classes even if her son is supposed to be a grown man.
As for Justin, he's a better man- a better person- than I could ever be. After all Ben and his antics caused, I would have let the chips fall where they would after telling the police what I knew of Michael's idiocy. Brian's reaction to Dan and vice versa was hilarious! I wonder if Dan was one of Brian's tricks the reason he recognized him immediately. Or it could very well be because of Brian's business and totally innocuous. Either way, they make for a very different and interesting dynamic within the scope of learning a little more about Justin.
Awesome job Star! This chapter gripped and held me captive until the very end of it. My anxiety spiked during the confrontation with Ben as it was meant to; my heart contracted when Justin interceded on Ben's behalf even after everything the man used him to accomplish in gaining Michael's attention (bet Ben's sorry as hell that he's ever had it now) and it expanded as Brian and Dan came to an understanding between them, knowing that Justin took the final step to include Brian in his life by introducing him to Alex. WHOA what a rush!!

Protective Brian is always sexy. I know Justin feels he can hold his own, but I'm not sure he understands just how far Michael can and may go to achieve his goals.
Brain says those 3 words. Not surprised as you tend to write him as being more open than in canon. (which by teh way I totally appreciate!!!) but still not overy mushy or ooc. He's just more mature.
Blake and Ted seem to be getting onto the proper wave length. Finding equal footing finally. Hopefully there will be little interference from Michael. I liked how Ted spoke of Blake. Saying that he didn't feel that Blake needed the reassurances. That he felt Blake was so strong, that he had so much respect for him. That Michael's only accomplishments in life were to be Brian's best friend, but that Blake had done so much with his life. I understand where Blake's misgivings were, but hearing Ted say what he did, shows just how much faith he had in Blake, how he felt Blake was of such strong character.
I really like alex. Seems like he could be kind of father figure to Brian. Someone Brian respects both in business as well as in his personal life. Never too late to have a positive role model in your life.
Hopefully Grant gets over the whole mute thing pretty quickly. In the meantime, it's pretty humerous.
Alex is right...time to drop the dead weight.

I just love that Brian is willing to fight for Justin and wants to keep him safe from whatever Michael plans to do next.
Michael can't stand sharing Brian with anyone but he let Ted and Emmett hang with them because they could never in his opinion outshine Brian and in a way he could Lord over them because he knows Brian better than anyone and they will never take his place by Brian's side.
Michael misses being in the shadow of Brian and he will stoop to any level to get back where he belongs at The Cool Kids Table.
Alex gave Brian some good advice it is time to drop the dead weight and Leave Michael to figure out life on his own without Brian as his safety net.
I think that is also good advice for Justin too.
Instead of him running after Molly it is time for him to stand back and let her come to him ready to face the truth.

OMG!!! The ASSHOLERY!!! I hope Nash submits that tape to Carl for evidence of Michael's misdeeds. I really hope he does try to take it further so that Michael can get tried and convicted for filing a false report amongst other things. Like seriously! And then his tantrum though....WHOO-WEE! Deb should have put his grown babyish ass over her knee and spanked his ass for that since he wants to be a five year old. What a MORON!
Although I don't agree with Blake's actions here, I do understand them. Anything concerning Michael would have him questioning Ted's sincerity at this point. That situation could have happened to anyone in the club and I think he would have taken it better but because of Michael's 'faked' medical condition, it just reinforced Blake's insecurities, which I know was Michael's intent where Ted, Brian and Em are concerned.
Good on Brian giving Ben the heads up on his husband's latest round of bullshit. Ben can never say that he wasn't warned. If he doesn't reach out to Carl, knowing that if Michael wanted to take his claims of 'abuse' further, then he deserves whatever he gets.
As for Michael's fake ass confession, he really needs his ass whipped! I wonder if any of them beyond Brian actually heard all of what Michael said loudly about trying to convince Ben that they needed to apologize to Justin and then turned around talking about Brian needing to be there for him. And then screaming that he's hurt but Brian is going back to Justin while pulling away from Debbie. I wonder if they all really saw just how malicious, manipulative and malignant Michael is to get what he wants. I don't hardly think that Michael really wants to play around with Justin too much. That 'You're mine' comment to Brian... if Justin ever gets wind of that, there is bound to seriously be some knuckles flying to the side of Michael's jaw. He needs to have several seats, with a 'Dunce' cap on in the nearest corner before he gets knocked out. And if Justin does lay hands on Michael, it will be justified both personally and legally since Michael was harassing him. It will definitely be looked upon as self-defense then what's the idiot going to do??

Oh thank goodness Brian is smart enought to see through Michael's crap! Ted too. Hopefully between Ted, Emmett and Justin, Blake will be able to see that Ted was doing his job and not running to Michael. It may take awhile, Blake is understandably mistrustful of the whole thing. can't blame him a bit.
those sweet moments between B&J always make me smile! Always gives me a happy feeling especially in amongst all teh angst going on with the others. Brian knows his prioroties. Justin is comfortable in this realtionship.
Good that Brian went right away to confront Ben and got the answers he needed. they will all have a deeper understanding of what lengths Michael will actually go to get what he wants. Hwo far will Michael try to go with this? How much trouble will Ben get in or will he be able to avoid it? Hopefully this will be the reality check he needs to stop using.
So glad you updated already! Was waiting on pins and needles to see what was going to happen.
