As for the talk with Brian and Justin last chapter, another stellar moment, Star! The way they laid it all out there was so necessary. No games, no bullshit; just honesty about what they want and what they won't take. I'm glad that they are trying to come to some sort of compromise. Now only if Brian can get custody of Gus, things would really work all the way around. I have a feeling the events of Chapter 9 is going to help see that happen because we all know that Lindsay can't resist using Gus to extort money or whatever else she's up to from Brian. Speaking of which...
I'm so HAPPY that Cynthia laid it out for Brian in terms of Lindsay's shrewish behavior. Personally I think it's a combination of crap she thought she was doing regarding Brian and Justin. On the one hand, she wanted to be the ONLY childbearer of Brian's. Sorry chick- you ain't! And on the other hand, she was jealous and looking for a way to live vicariously through Justin. Sorry Wonder Twit- you can't! So with Brian gone, that kills any heteronormative fantasy she cooked up in her one-track brain and then with Justin being preggers it kills two of her desires in one shot. No Lindsay you are NOT the only one with Brian's baby and no Lindsay you will NOT be able to ride shotgun on Justin's career. Know a BITCH who needs a LIFE?? Yep that would be Lindsay!!!
I'm glad that Daphne is going to deliver some home-truths about Michael and his ongoing harassment of Justin to Brian. I suspect that he didn't know that half of the animosity directed at Justin. Speaking of which can I just say I laughed my ass off when Justin refuted every bratty argument Michael had back in his ignorant face?! Then add in Daphne's commentary, I think I nearly swallowed my Pepsi wrong! Brian is about to get the re-education of Justin Taylor, which is going to include just how much Justin really loved him. Makes Michael showing up to cause trouble an absolutely splendid thing!

Glad that Brian and Justin are talking and making plans for their future, also glad that Brian is going to fight the girls for custody of Gus, not surprised Mel didn't file the paperwork but am surprised that as a lawyer she didn't notice that by taking the money she was helping Brian prove his case.
Mel and Lindsay are living in Delusion Land if they think Deb isn't going to be worse than Brian, they had one Kinney to deal with try fighting against two Novotnys who don't know the meaning of the word: Boundaries.
Ted described Deb perfectly she just wants everyone to depend on her so they can look after Michael and accept blame for his continuous screw ups, unless they are willing to accept their place then she doesn't have time to be The Mother of Liberty Avenue.
I look forward to Brian and Justin standing together with hopefully some good friends and family who are prepared to take on Deb, Michael, Lindsay and Mel.
