mhm. This is the biggest problem I have with this fandom. The way you guys make both Michael and Lindsay so out of character is really a bummer. It only makes Brian seem pathetic for having the most judgemental, small minded, manupulative, sniveling type of friends in existence...until he meets Justin...n it's soooo wrong!
I mean I don't understand these characterizations of Brian's best friends. *sigh*
Poor Lindz and Mikey...
They're both such great characters....they deserve better than to be a plot for discord.

Sorry about using Michael as my comic foil in this story - I really just needed a figure for that role and Michael fit perfectly. I really have nothing against the character overall, but this is AU so I used him as I saw fit. Both Michael and Lindsey, in this story at least, are used as catalysts of a sort to help propel this Brian on to the next stage of his development and towards Justin. Nothing personal against them and I don't always used these characters this way. In fact, in most of my stories I somehow redeem even the characters I portray as not so nice. I hope you can overlook this characterization and keep on reading, since they really are only a background note in this particular story. Maybe sometime in the future I can come up with a plot that will let one or the other really shine, but that isn't THIS story, I'm afraid. TAG
