rnI have been asked for a timeline of the stories. Taking the pilot episode and assuming that occurred in September 2000, Betrayal is set in March through Christmas 2002. Ambush is set in June of 2005, approximately where the series ended, though I kept some storylines and dropped others from my universe. The boy's celebrated their 5th anniversary in March 2007 and Gabe was born in August 2008. Retribution is set in August 2011. Restoration is set in 2012 and Ellis in 2014. Hope that helps those who were confused.

The reason I recommend 'Betrayal' by Julesmonster is not only because it's so well written, creating a wonderfully detailed AU world, but also because these characters are so much more mature and (in some respects) real than the ones we saw in the show. By keeping their relationship out of the view of the Family, both Brian and Justin had time to grow and change and become the people we want to see them as.
