Gus and Harley are a blast to write. We suspect they may get each other in trouble in the future :D Who will be to blame?

The bowling scenes were a bit of challenge... We kept getting distracted by that hunk in the neighboring lane, along with everyone else :D We had to be careful that the scores added up correctly. Most of them could use more practice, right? Justin would probably appreciate company when he's practicing with Michael; his WASP upbringing really did the blond no favors :D

We're working on the scene with the urologist now, along with a few others. It will be a while, but we'll push out the next chapter as soon as we can. Justin's already doing better than before his visit to the ER and his encounter with Darth :) We'll just have to hope that the urologist will confirm that he's healing as he should...

We can't give you answers to your questions just yet, although Carl and Wen assure us they are making progress with the loft robbery, and Wen plans to put the 'fear of Wen' into Dr. Perkins again. She's annoyed that he didn't get the message the first time.

Is there anyone who doesn't want Wen to boot Jerkins, Dixon, and Hobbs out of St. James? Rest assured, she and Horvath are working on it!

We didn't actually have 50,000+ words as a goal for the chapter. Who would be that insane? :D That's the same as the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) goal. Not that we came close to writing that much in just one month...

That's a very good point that pain can make you do foolish things. Justin also brought it on himself, unfortunately, with his stubbornness about go-go dancing so he can pay Brian back. "Stupid little twat," as Brian might say, if not as affectionately as usual at the moment. Could it be any more obvious how much Brian cares about him? :)

Do we foresee a sermon coming up for Justin from both Carl and Wen? Along, of course, with more from Brian and Ted... plus Deb, Vic, Daph, Syd, Em, etc. Jsutin's gonna get an earful, again and again. :D

Oh and then there’s our favorite detectives… they may also have a thing or two to say to Justin. :D You're not the only one who wants Carl - and Wen - to fix the Hobbs problem. If only the administrators at St. James didn't encourage that kind of bullying. :/

Everyone is on tenterhooks, waiting to see whether Justin will be okay. We didn't mean to leave you - and all our other lovely readers - hanging from a cliff for so long. Unfortunately, real life has sucked in the worst way for Karynn (eureka1) of late, which means we haven't been able to work much on the next chapter. We will update as soon as possible, but it may be a month or more. :/ There is, however, a teaser available in the FanDoc if you haven't already peeked at it - and we will write the rest of the chapter to go with it. :)

We know the translations sometimes don't make sense; perhaps Alois would be willing to help if you get stuck. That's what a beta is for, right? :P

Wen has the expectation that Perkins will keep his faculty under control. She hasn't encountered Dixon yet, but she might if she has to pay another visit to St James. Dickhead had better watch out! :D

We're made up that you like Origami Girl. Not only is she a bit of a loner, though; she's also a few years younger than the others, so she wouldn't necessarily fit into a group with the other girls and Justin.

We're proud of the brunet stud. He actually apologised and admitted to having feelings - major progress! But, not, he doesn't do jealousy. Nuh-uh. Riiight, Brian. Keep telling yourself that.

We had such fun planning the girls' interrogation of Justin, with Brian hanging on every word. :D

Emmett can be surprisingly close-mouthed at times, so we don't know whether Brian will succeed in winkling any info about BOB out of him. Stay tuned for the next chapter...

We agree - Deb and Vic make the perfect surrogate parents for Justin. We can't imagine Justin without his bestie. He and Daph love to tease each other, but they also always have each other's backs.

Brian wants us to tell you he doesn't do jealousy - you have our permission to laugh yourself silly over that outrageous claim. He is jealous as he watches Justin dance, but he's not about to admit it, so he's sticking with being miffed at the teen for not taking his advice about the go-go gig. He is genuinely annoyed with Justin for that, as well as worried about what might happen.

Our readers are very likely to hear more about BOB. :D Did your screen fog over when you read that final scene?

Mel is one incredible, kickass attorney. Brian is darned lucky she's on his side. They'll undoubtedly return to their usual bickering soon, lol.

Brynn is taking a bow for Brian's observation that he and Justin are acting like a divorced couple. :D

We know all you cheeky readers want Brian and Justin back togehter - right now, dammit! :D We're trying to nudge them in that direction, and they may be starting to listen. Keep in mind that the story is 'slow burn' and that less than three weeks have elapsed since the burglary.

Carl and Wen are investigating the robbery, but an investigation is usually painstaking. It takes time to unearth and follow up on all possible leads.
