OH HELL NO!!!  Lindsay... you jumped the gun and now you must deal with the fallout. IF she would have waited for Daddy to get back to her...

There is no way Ron would have advised her to go within a thousand miles of the Taylor's.  Lindsay's mother was a HOBBS????  After that fiasco with Chris, I would suspect the Peterson's are almost scared of the Taylor's.And now, Roan and Nancy might have to deal with their "fall from grace" due to Lindsay.

She will now really have the wrath of Brian (and probably her family) ... but serves her right to find out she is NOT the original Lindsay Peterson! You naughty woman, Nichelle!

Is this where I tell you - I LOVE YOU?!?!

Oh Lindsay... Your father told you to stay out of it... you should have heeded his warning. You just announced to a cafe of diners your plans to interfere in the Taylor's lives again. And if that little excursion into the Taylor's office was Michael's suggestion... let's just say I thought you were smarter than to listen to someone like Michael. She's going to make Ron so mad, that the deal with Harold Archer will even be off the table. And after Mel and Brian learn of her pretending to be Mel to get info about Justin gets back to them... as it should... she will not have a pot to piss in, and no child to use as blackmail/leverage.

What do you bet John Robertson will be out of a job with the Sun Times when this news feed hits his editor? Either that, or the article he writes disregarding Brian's warning? He's the perfect candidate to sit along side Craig and Arnold waiting for an interview at the Big Q.

I LOVED Brian's speech. He said so much without actually saying it. I have a feeling "Google" will be blowing up computers as they all scramble to learn to horror that is Craig Taylor.

I'm really liking this story.

I'm going to start this with - thank heavens Ben was one of the patrons dining and overheard Lindsay and Michael, and I agree wholeheartedly that Deb and Vic be given full disclosure. They will need to protect themselves from the fallout of Lindsay and Michael's schemes, and allow Michael to sink or swim on his own.

THAT said.... I've reread the conversation regarding Hobbs three times. I THINK I have it right now, but please let me know. I read all the comments to this chapter, and other than a 'confused' none of the others made comments regarding it. SO...

Dimitry is holding Chris, Chris has to do anything Dimitry says, Chris is Dimitry's little sex slave... I think everybody got all that. But... are his parents aware of it? Dimitry has the power to dismantle Hobbs Construction, so that's why Chris stays and doesn't say anything. But if Chris is in this enforced servitude, what good is his inheritance anyway?

Moving on to Charles Lucky... I gather he has a male escort service in Pittsburgh, called Lucky's, and more than likey, the one Brian uses. Justin is Charles' partner in the escort service, and Dimitry is who they get their escorts from.

Questions... are these boys employed willingly, or are all their situations like Chris Hobbs?

And just who is Charles Lucky to Justin? How would Justin know him, or of him, that they could start an escort service when Justin was only seventeen?

Side Note... Was Ted out getting lunch for everybody when he got the call from Ben? Or does he order Brian's lunch, sometimes?

Good Plot regarding Hobbs' demise. I gotta wonder what they can come up with for Craig.

I have to backtrack here to last chapter...

This thing with the DeCampos, it affects us too, you know?"  ...  “Yes, and in ways that Justin Taylor cannot imagine. I wonder how he’s going to take it, finding out that we also do their advertising. It’s not common knowledge yet.”

Are Ted and Cynthia saying Kinnetik does Prada's advertising... but not only that, Justin's advertising?

Unfortunately, we didn't get to witness, what I hope was disgust, from Cesare. Let's just hope it's there, and from this point on, Cesare will be behind Justin supporting him and his quest to keep Craig from the family.

My, my, my... Nancy's extramarital affair just caught up to her, big time! And Lindsay just had her image shattered... how fitting in the same coffee shop so that everyone got to bear witness to it. Regarding Marcus Foxx - he sounds a dying, old wealthy man. 'estate'... Lord I hope he has his will in place so Lindsay isn't inheriting a lot of money! And Ron's pre-nup... I hope it contains that Nancy gets nothing in a divorce if cheating was involved.

We really need to get him to understand that his action was unacceptable and should be reversed immediately.  Not really something you want to announce in a roomful of people who adore Brian Kinney.

And yet that’s what we usually do to Brian. A truer statement has never been spoken.

It sounds like old man Foxx will have fair warning... that's agood thing... he won't be able to be mislead by Lindsay.

Yeah... Brian and Justin can continue to spout... love is bullshit... get in and out with a maximum of pleasure with minimal bullshit, theory... but we know the truth. We say it firsthand as they walked out arms wrapped around each other.

I just gotta ask... GEORGE... or better known as George Goodfuck. EP 2...

LMAO! I was wondering if anyone would put that together. Congrats! I just love being able to take secondary characters and feature them in a totally unexpected way.

I'm working on the updates for ALL stories, so definitely be on the look out for the continuation of this one.

The plight of Michael you described at Deb's hand (and foot) is something I think I would have paid good money to actually see. To have his ass handed to him like that from Debbie, and then STILL go alone with Lindsay's plan... well, Dumber deserves everything that's coming his way.

As for Lindsay destroying her home in a fit of rage and then blaming it on Melanie... I have to hand her the Dumbest award this time. Little Mel, seven months pregnant...  And her little speech of Primary care giver and Mother's Love is going to be hard to prove when she's arrested for a false report.

Oh well... how the mighty WASP has fallen. Daddy will be so disappointed in his little darlin'.

I really do hope that Foxx left Lindsay $1.00 so that she cannot contest and challenge the will. it will be interesting to see what you have planned to be revealed about Lindsay's conception/circumstances of her birth and what subsequently followed.

Did the butler purposely let Lindsay believe the Netherlands, as there is an Amsterdam, NY-too. But IF it is the Netherlands, that will take MONEY to find him, something Lindsay and Michael have none of.

I re-read the fourteen chapters, so I'm all caught up... I enjoyed the few extras you put into the story... they definitely enhanced it.

And now I'm ready to have those two shipped off to Amsterdam to be in the 'service' industry.

I do have one question though...

Was it one of Justin's grandfathers that left Vic some money to help ease their lives, but that they gave it to Michael, who ended up squandering it away?

Really looking forward to the next update,

Author's Response:

Hey Cathy,

I'm glad that you've been enjoying the stoy. I still have some edits to do, but I've already began chapter 15. In reference to your question, yes it was Justin's grandfather Alfred Matthew Winston, who gave Vic the money. But of course, queue Michael with the violin-worthy sob story, Deb buys it, and Vic agrees to the 'loan' that hasn't gotten paid back.

Boy, oh boy... you are typing up a storm this evening. I have tried for a few days to do that, and anything I get down, it all sounds wrong... Writer's block, possibly?

Anyways... I'd like to say that you have me totally wrapped up in this story now. (Shame on you!)

I can just about imagine what Lindsay has done in the past that has Lynette have that big of an ax to grind.

But, I have to wonder if Nancy's warning to Lindsay to keep her trap shut will fall on death ears... knowing Lindsay, I'm sure it will... she always thinks she invincible.. but oh my god! If she DOES bring up little Christopher, it's just possible Lindsay and Nancy could BOTH be shipped off to do servitude. But, who would want the dried up former Mrs. Perterson? And then if Ronald could take back the Hobbs home, and Justin the business, that family may have to join them.

Daphne and Melanie... hmm... I can see it... I never thought it before... but... nice pairing.

Author's Response:

Hi Cathy,

Like you, people usually read multiple chapters at a time, and leave me reviews whenever they are able. Any generalized-left review (instead of done within the corresponding chapter) will register as being under 'Chapter 1'. Most of the reviews under this chapter are for areas much later in the story.

HAPPY READING and THANK YOU for taking the time to review my work! I'm glad that you are liking it so far!

First thank you for your response to my question concerning Chapter 1.

Stockwell... I wanna bitch slap him about now. He needs a size 12 boot kicked up his ass... Where are you Emmett? Glad to know Horvath is an honest cop. I hope he slips a little word into Baxter ear about how Stockwell wanted him to handle this case. Especially after the way Stockwell talked to Hobbs, and Hobbs said, "Having a good puppet ain't half bad, Jim." I'm sure it won't change the charges already filed, but if that bit of information came up at civil court... could that be damaging evidence?

The civil suit... I always wondered why that wasn't part of the show. Melanie, for being a kick-ass gay rights lawyer, should have insisted on it. And, I don't believe Brian is stupid enough to not follow through with it either. Did you know that Pennsylvania is one of only eight states that has given its Attorney General the authority to seek a civil remedy for a violation of a citizen's civil rights? So, that being said, that was one of the errors the writer's made during the show. I also always wondered why Brian wasn't called as a witness to testify.

Anyway, onto the next chapter. I'm so enjoying this...

was trying to hold off from commenting... but I  realized  I needed to interject something. Why only ONE million dollars? They clearly should have asked for more. Hobbs, SR has more than enough money. Chris isn't even gonna pay a price for his crime. If Samuel was paying Mr Peters TWO million, and lord knows how much to Russo, I feel with that much money at his disposal, they should have asked for multiple, MULTIPLE millions! Justin was going to be an artist. I know that doesn't mean he would have made it, but he already showed talent beyond his years. How much can an artist make in 10 years or more, when they start selling paintings in the 5 or 6 figure range? Also with Justin's mental state, any college would be out of the question. How is he suppose to support himself during his lifetime? Regardless of the settlement, nobody wants to sit on their hind end their whole life, wasting away with nothing to do. Well, I guess there are the WASP wives that don't work. But the dollar amount should have fit the crime. The father will pay, but Chris won't...  I hope someone with clout can make such Chris never gets a chance for college...

Well, now that I had my rant... Need I say that Lindsay is a CUNT? Michael is too. How dare they enter the loft and take it into their own hands to toss Justin out of his home! I hope Brian and Mel move to have her rights removed, and Brian's reinstated. And Michael... I don't even want to imagine what Brian's reaction will be when that article comes out in the paper. Or, the rest of the family for that matter. He won't be able to even get a job in Pittsburgh after this. He should be ostracized from the Avenue! I hope Ben sees through him in time before they move towards a relationship. Ben has seen B/J's relationship. He knows the dynamic of the two. He knows the person Justin is (was). How can he allow Michael to put such a damning perspective about Justin out there, without calling him out on it? I hope Michael complains to Ben about Brian treating him the way he is, so he has to come clean with what he and Lindsay did.  Can Michael be sued? I know he doesn't have much, but he must have his trusty comic books and toys... And why is David going to Pittsburgh? They aren't LEGALLY married are they? David shouldn't have to be responsible for Michael's screw-ups. Michael is 30 yrs old. He can make his own decision. Even if a person is married, that doesn't mean a spouse is responsible for the others actions. God rest his soul, but if my husband would have murdered somebody, would it have been my fault?

Loving the story. I don't care which way you spin a story. They are all riveting, pulling a reader in. Thank you for that.

I just thought of something else. Why wasn't a judge present for Mr Peters testimony? Why was it held in a conference room? Or is this something that will eventually go before a judge in a courtroom? Little confused there. Not very familiar on court proceedings. It just seems the judge should have heard his confession.

Cathy

Author's Response:

Hey Cathy,

I'm just looking over some of the reviews to make sure that where I am in this story is exactly where I need to be. So I am just now running across this question. The answer is that the first phase of any Civil trial is called the Depositional phase, which consists of two parts: the written account and video confirmation, which is what's going on in this chapter and the sidebars leading up to the courtroom showdown. This is the stage where the witness being questioned is asked questions to clarify their written account of events from their point of view, which must line up with what they've written or it can/will be disputed before the final stage (before a Civil Litigation Judge), where damages are either awarded or denied. Since it is also considered another form of evidence, the judge will be able to view the videoes as such in order to make a final determination.

It's way too evident that I watch entirely TOO MUCH CourtTv, Law & Order, and murder mysteries on ID Discovery and Dateline... LOL Hope this helps!

Have to give Michael the tenacity of stupidity. ( you know, those who never win and never quit, are idiots). Three weeks... poor widdle Mikey... My mother taught me, "Stupid is as Stupid Does". That should have Deb's teachings...

As far as Michael was concerned, he’d only told the truth. Sure, the truth hurt sometimes, but it was no reason to throw away a friendship more than a decade old because of a temporary fling.

He really is clueless, isn't he? "temporary fling". Yeah, I almost hope he accidentally runs into Brian somewhere public. Hopefully where Andrew is an onlooker!

Lindsay better watch her peas and queues. Mel and Brian find out what she's been up to, and needing money for... Do I dare enter a guess and have it involve the bashing, and or harrassment of Justin?  And, boy oh boy... when she finds out Schickle is Justin's uncle... she better be afraid. Her WASP nest dream is going to be closed. Maybe right along with her parents.

When Bellweather was talking to Ted, I caught the couple of comments he made... had him over a barrel with a false lawsuit...and... his job was to ruin Brian’s reputation within Ryder Advertising, Okay... FALSE LAWSUIT... HIS JOB - RUIN BRIAN'S REPUTATION. Yeah, caught all that. Who put Kip up to it? Was it Ryder, in order to get Brian out of the company? And I think I can definitely rank Bellweather up there with Craig, as to were Brian would stick his dick. Was Bellweather's 'little soiree at his house' one of his BB Parties? When will Ted remember to tell Brian about what Bellweather said?

BTW... You made me fall in love with little Bryce Whittingham...

Thanks for another amazing story.  Cathy

OMG! I just caught up on the story... and you just managed to kill my usually long rambling! I'm speechless!  I really hope you will now update this soon! It's been four months, so I can about imagine the readers that were reading it at the time it was posted are really looking forward to one.

TWINS! I know it's always referred to Mel being Brian in female form. But TWINS! Holy Mother Of God! If Ima knew Brian's name, why didn't they ever contact him? How were they separated? Gave one up for adoption? Stolen as a Baby? Is that why Jack beat him, knowing he wasn't his? SO MANY QUESTIONS! Then with Brian fainting... My shock turned into giggles. Too bad Justin hadn't gone with them. Brian might need him now, to help ground him. I'm so glad Brian and Mel have made peace with each other prior to this. Lindsay is going to be so upset! Speaking of Lindsay, who is gonna get screwed over? Lindsay or Gardner? Good thing Marcie and Cynthia are around, and Jennifer, Constance and George are around the corner.

I know Ethan is suppose to enter this story, but after everything B/J have been through together, starting the business together, legally raising the nephews together,  JUST HOW? I cringe thinking of getting to that part.

Hope to see an update soon. I liked the way you formatted this story with sidebars.

Oh! Thank you so much for this update. It looks like the 'whole crew' is starting to expand more and more. Maybe when Michael comes to, they can convince he must have been seeing and hearing things, and tell him they weren't even at the Cafe. Or hopefully, when he comes to, he will have a giant knot on the head, and temporary amnesia.

So Murph has the start up computers. That's a good thing, as they should be able to get by on four artists when starting the agency. And if Brian can move the 'best of the best' with him, maybe he won't have to hire anybody outside for a short time. And it would be so great if Justin could get that cosultation job. Also, Calvin Hobbs better stop with that rescinding campaign, or he might be out the board's door.

Jennifer better get to Nathan quickly. Can you imagine how ill he would feel after the fact, if he found out he slept with his half-sister? As Emmett said, "EEEEWWWWW'!

Lookng forward to your next chapter. I'm so very pleased you are feeling better and can start on a normal rotation schedule.

Lindsay sure has a few surprises in store for her once she gets done being serviced by Gardner *eew, eew, shudder*   She really is a piece of cake. First with her employment, and lying, unsuccessfully to Dean Maloney. And what a lie! Feigning interest about Justin, which I was only too happy to learn he knew the full truth of the situation, even involving of her and Michael trying to bodily removing Justin from Brian's apartment.

Then she thinks she punishing Melanie for not home and being in Gardner's bed... hehe! (Mel won't care whose bed she's in!) Guess again, Lindsay Dear. Your "wife" is not even home. Neither is your son. And oh right! You better hurry and return to that home, because your "wife" sold that home. If you hurry, and quit sleeping with the guy using you, for his own gain, you might make it back by 4:00 so you will have enough time to rent a truck, get to the storage unit, and pick up your clothing. (all on your own dime, of course)  God how I hope she misses the deadline. I also hope Leda has papers proving the sale of the house on her, but if she doesn't, no big loss, as Leda can have her arrested for trespassing as she tries to move past Leda to get in the house. Also, your plans to get Mel to agree to have Brian pay more child support (which Gardner planted in your mind) is NOT gonna happen. And your only option will be to sign your rights away. And what's this crap she thinks she's gonna get all that she wants and deserves. Foolish entitled bitch, doesn't know shit!

Surprise, surprise, surprise... Justin is a multi-millionaire, and George Schickle's heir. Bet he looks a lot better in your eyes now, Lindsay. And yes, you're not getting that big office up on the main office space. And Cynthia won't be at your beck and call. You will down in the lowly art department. You won't be able to visit all the departments, throwing your weight around. Which you won't even have a job anymore when they all jump ship in two weeks.

Regarding Nancy... I hope her $6K is holding out. Staying at the Hilton, which probably cost about $350 a night for a suite, and having to pay your P.I. for the updated information on Mel and Brian, you're not going to have much money, much longer. And you might have to share costs of living with your daughter in a couple of weeks.

Your impressive back story on Mel and Brian, was brilliant. So, if I have this straight, Joan was Melanie Levine's older sister? So that would make Joan Brian's aunt, and Claire his cousin? And Melanie Marcus is two years younger than her birth certificate states, besides the day and month are also wrong? I'd like to know why Melanie Levine thought it was a good thing to separate her twins? And once Mendel and Fradya knew the truth about Jack Kinney, why didn't they try to get Brian out of there? This whole history of events is going to take some time to fully sink in to Mel and Brian.

So much going on in this chapter. Can't wait to find out everybody's reactions. Has Michael came to, yet? Can you give him amnesia? Because Lindsay needs to be kept in the dark for a while longer.

XOXO ~ Cathy

Author's Response:

Hi Cathy. First, thanks for reading and reviewing. It means a lot. To answer a couple of your questions, without giving away the plot going forward:

-Joan has no relation whatsoever to Brian and Mel. She was simply Jack Kinney's wife (now widow) through a forced marriage arranged through Kevin Kinney and Joan's father, who were best friends. Brian and Melanie's birth mother,  was Melanie Levine, who was Frayda's niece.

-In some cultures, back in those days, the male child went with their father to learn the legacy of the family, while the female children stuck close to their mothers in preparation for housewifery duties. Since Melanie Levine's mother and father (Jacob and Feiga) clung to old world ideals, the young woman was raised believing the same.

-Melanie Marcus and Brian are, in fact, twins, although Mel's birth certificate reads that she was born on November 6th 1970, whereas Brian's reads their actual birthdate of June 11th 1970. Jack met their birth mother nearly two years before they were born on the date of November 6th, which they used on Mel's birth certificate. The date was sentimentally chosen since there was no question that the twins needed to be separated. If taken from purely a romantic perspective, November 6th was the date that Melanie Levine and Jack Kinney found love, but June 11th is the date that any love in Jack's heart died since Melanie Levine expired shortly after childbirth.

-As for why Mendel and Frayda didn't get Brian out of there: they knew Jack Kinney one way through their niece's association with him. However, by the time they found out what was really going on in the Kinney household, what could they have done? They had no rights to Brian. Jack convinced Joan that Brian was their son, while keeping the real facts about Brian's parentage a secret. But the question is did he do a good enough job at it. "The heart has many secrets" is a very true adage here.

Stay Tuned!

Nichelle, Thank you so much for taking the time to try to explain it to me, but I'm still slightly confused. If Jacob Levine was Melanie Levine's father, and Jacob and Kevin were best friends, then who was Joan's father? I thought it was Jacob, because I thought that was why Kevin and Jacob wanted Jack and Joan married, as Joan was pregnant by her father (which I thought was Jacob.) Am I making any sense? This is causing my love of mystery and intrigue to falter. Usually, I'm very adept at following through with plot. HELP!

Cathy

Author's Response:

Jacob and Kevin did not know each other. However, they were similar men where their children were concerned.

-Joan's father (whose name wasn't mentioned) and Kevin Kinney were best friends, and arranged the marriage between Jack and Joan to cover the fact that she was impregnated by her own father, resulting in the birth of Claire Kinney. Jack protested, and said that he was already involved with the woman he intended to marry (Melanie Levine). Instead of accepting that, Joan and Jack's fathers had him drugged by Joan so that he believed he slept with her, then married them off posthaste to cover up the incestuous relationship between her and her father- a situation Jack didn't fully discover and understand until after the marriage had taken place.

As for Jacob, he arranged for his daughter to marry someone else, once he found out that she was seeing a man he didn't know nor approve of (Jack). When she protested, she was beaten for her insolence, and later sent to her aunt, Frayda, to correct her 'behavior'. Jacob and Feiga wanted to remember her 'place' and to do her duty to their family, which ultimately meant marrying the man Jacob picked for her without question or opinion. Instead, Frayda and Mendel let her stay with them permanently, not agreeing with Jacob and Feiga's actions towards their daughter at all.

The two situation are separate, yet related because they both affected Jack and Melanie's plans to marry. Hope this puts the story of Jack Kinney and Melanie Levine into perspective for you.

Happy Reading!

Ahhh... I finally got it. I think where I got screwed up was when you inserted "They miscalculated how determined Kevin Kinney and Jacob Levine were to see their wills fulfilled. For Jack's father's part, he made sure to see his choice found a way to drug Jack. Joan's father was almost desperate to see his daughter married off." To me, I interpreted it as Kevin and Jacob were best friends, wanting to see Jack and Joan married. I really thank you for taking the time with this.

It seems strange that when Jacob found out Melanie was pregnant and had died, he didn't set out to find Mendel and Frayda to at least see what the sex of Melanie's child was. I'm also surprised Jack didn't leave Joan when he realized she was farther along than when he supposedly slept her after he was drugged, knowing the child couldn't be his. The 70's weren't that outdated that he couldn't get away with divorce. Or even just abandon Joan. What did he have to lose? He had already lost his inheritance of the shipping business, so why not leave and go out on his own? Why be straddled with a wife whom he didn't love, and a child who wasn't his? As far as Brian goes, I would think Jack would have loved him more than anything, being he was Melanie's child, who he genuinely loved. Although I suppose when Jack was drunk, all he could see was how much Brian resembled Melanie, and hated him for what he had lost with Melanie. When Mendel and Frayda explained to Jack in the hospital about the baby, did they leave out the fact that there were actually two babies?

And, what happens to John and Peter now? Now that Brian knows the truth about them, and knows they are not blood-related? Will he still want to keep them?

FINALLY ... I got caught up on this. I have been so busy what with the holiday, my mother's birthday, WRITING, (yes, believe it or not, my first story), that this kind of got forgotten. Remembering I had a couple WIP's to catch up on, I went searching through the stories.  Anyways.......

This was a good update. We learned of the inner-workings of the futher staff of Kinnetik, and their plans for Gardner. I always get a kick when Todd is brought into a story. I haven't read many with him, but the reaction is always the same. Backroom Todd? *smirk*

So Nancy's little plan to have the P.I. get information about Brian and Mel, is going to blow up in her face. I wonder if she didn't have the money to pay for the files, or if Hanks wasn't able to get ahold of Nancy, so he called Ron instead. Regardless, Nancy doesn't get the information, but Ron will. Because I have no doubt that Ron will pay for them, if only to see what Nancy wanted. And just HOW did Ron know about Mel and Brian?

We haven't heard from Michael since he fell and hit his head on the table, (that was such a shame - NOT) I gotta wonder how he's faring. Hopefully with his head connecting with the table it's caused memory failure.

Is it 5:00 yet? Has Lindsay made it home? If not, she may be dumpster diving to have a change of clothes.

Will we get the lowdown on how Rudyard is faring at the farm? I laugh just at the thought of that. I wonder who will come up with the most dreadful chores he can do. Molly or Fred?

Thanks for all your updates you give us.

FINALLY - I'm getting around to this. I just reread the two previous chapters before this to get "recaught up" and get into the "Groove".

I enjoyed the 'meeting of the minds' conversation. They all really have Brian and Justin's back. I'm still curious how Ron was aware of Brian and Mel being siblings. Also, what all Hank has in that report, and if he will be able to shine any light as to WHY Nancy wanted the info and if she has had him do this previously. How very stupid of her to tell Hank Ron would pay him. She won't be able to even find a body to help warm her bed when Ron gets through with her.

As far as Lindsay getting off without seeing a judge, (correct me if I'm wrong)... but CPS has all the information along with the hospital. So, do they not have all the info about the case so that if they contacted the DA, Lindsay could be brought in on all the charges again?  What about the bank officials that witnessed the arrest? What about the arresting officer? Just because she was let go from jail, doesn't mean that aren't witnesses to the crime committed. I AM looking forward to the fools who helped getting theirs, though.

And pray tell, more good news regarding Claire??? OUCH!!!

And Michael, I remember commenting to you that let's hope he has amnesia when he wakes up!!  Screetching Indeed!!  I hope he's going to a jail cell for a while!

Do you have a picture of how Shavonne would look? Just curious as how you see her in your mind's eye.

It's so good to be back!!!

Some clarifications first:  First paragraph:

but he had an awesome amount of respect for her aunt and uncle. (is George Leda's uncle? but how could Nathan have respect for Virginia?)

Rod nodded as he looked through the thorough investigative reports. (RON - right?)

he did recognize two of the blonde women, a brunette, (I'm assuming Jennifer, Cynthia, and WHO?)

~~~~~~~~~~
You know how foolish and uncomfortable I would have been if I had been Nathan? Here he is standing in a room full of strangers, RON and Lynette, and having his affair with Nancy - while she was Ron's wife - brought out in ful blooming color.  Let's just hope he takes into account all the warnings and information he was given. He rules that baby goes back to Lindsay, or drops any hints of what was discussed at George's with any of these women, he can kiss his bench goodbye. Besides, he's a judge in a court of law, (I know it would never be the case of Ron and Nancy) but he could be named in an alienation of affection lawsuit if Ron wanted to get nasty. Why sully his hands with an ugly, loose woman like that???
HOLY HELL IN A HANDBASKET!!!  Joan Kinney is off her rocker!! Talk about a disciple of the devil!  That woman wouldn't know God and Christianity if it bit her in the ass! She gives good Christian mother's a bad name. She preaches God, and does the work of the devil.
Couldn't Lindsay be charged with attempted felony theft at the bank? It was bad enough she was trying to move money from her and Melanie's account, but she was trying to move money from BRIAN'S account. Or would Brian have to press charges???
Isn't there a special place for someone like Lindsay that harbors all these illusions??? Only woman Brian made love to, when Brian and her got married, wedding trousseau (isn't she aware all those clothes would be outdated), stay at her parents' home, Alienation of Affection filed against Justin.... this woman is crazy insane! And the last straw was: all the fault of that blond, husband-stealing bastard named Justin Taylor! Okay, she left "crazy insane" someplace 100 mikes back. But why press your luck with a cabbie calling the police for non payment??? I would think refusal to pay a cabbie driver would get you a call to the police versus a restaurant.
I'm so looking forward to Craig's first day on the farm. Maybe Fred has pigs...
Mikey, Mikey, Mikey...  so the clunk on the head appeared to have done some temporary forgetfulness. He can remember the stupid article and following Emmett, but he can't remember screeching and then hitting his head. Nice type of amnesia. And his loose mouth won't shut up... I hope he talks that way to the judge.  I really liked this one: He still couldn’t help but feel that everything that was happening to him was all Justin’s fault. If it wasn’t for him, the guys would have forgiven him by now. That was the way it had always been; the way it should always be! YOU’RE LYING! BRIAN WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO ME!
BTW... is there a writing class that teaches how to write delusional???
Love this ongoing saga. Can't wait to see what the next chapter will bring,
Author's Response:
Hi Cathy,
Leda's aunt has passed and now her uncle is moving to London to be with his son. Leda isn't related to George, although their families are both well-known and well-respected within Elite society. That is how Nathan knows Jennifer (blonde), Lynette (blonde), Constance (red with blonde highlights), AND Marcie (brunette).
Sorry, I made a typing error on Ron, but you are correct there... I'll fix it soon.
As for Michael, he often has selective memory, especially during his uber-idiot, sanctimonious tirades in which he's quick to point out other's flaws while negating his own. So it would stand to reason that in the case of Brian and Melanie being twins, his mind would rebel at the idea and therefore push that fact as far deep into his subconscious until he has no other choice than to face the reality.
Happy Reading and HUGS,
~Nichelle
Hmm, another great update. Thank you! Those little fingers of yours aren't getting any rest... but that's okay... we are reaping the REWARDS!
Lindsay, Lindsay... you will NEVER be, or NEVER were in contention to being Mrs B.A. Kinney. Get that through your head. Also, if Gardner was smart... he'd realize the ONLY reason Lindsay would want to be Mistress of the Manor, is because of the hefty bank account and clout attached to it. At least he has her in the guest house. but if Gardner thinks his WASP wife won't have proof of infidelities... he's an even bigger idiot.
Michael. Is. An. Idiot. Does he NOT realize that you are NOT supposed to speak the truth to your counselor if you are trying to get them to being your boyfriend? Even if it's under false pretensions. The way Ben spoke to Michael, maybe he's taking Cynthia's words to heart. But WHY did he bail Michael out in the first place? That part just doesn't make sense to me. Where was Deb?
If Michael thinks he is so much better for Brian because he was there during the years he was abused... well, that's a good reason not to be. He has a hard time seeing the Brian that is an adult, capable of love, and not the detached boy that didn't want to be close to anyone. Brian doesn't want sympathy or hero worship.
And is it Justin Taylor's fault Emmett and Ted are no longer speaking to him?  HOW can he place that blame at Justin's feet? It sounds to me that Justin, Emmett and Ted should ALSO get restraining orders. Along with Mel and one for Gus. Yeah... I don't trust the little bastard.
Brian and Justin need one against Lindsay, too.
If Lindsay thinks she can get Gardner to do her bidding... well, she should know different. Gardner has lived that live a very long time, and has dealt with many women. Granted, none as conniving as Lindsay, but it was refreshing to see he had her number. And speaking of having her number... it was great to see Ronald and Lynette... and Larry... did as well. Oh, please let us be witnesses to the call to Constance. I have a feeling Lindsay IS NOT going to be gracing the halls of Vanguard. And maybe not even the guesthouse by the time Constance is through with Gardner. Oh dear, wherever will Lindsay lay her head then?  Because the REAL daddy already has her number too. BTW, just how much of Vanguard does Constance own? Would she by any chance have controlling interest?
I wasn't sure what a suburban outback looked like... it wasn't too bad, until I typed in 2002... because we all know how important dates are... and it was bone-ass UGLY! And good luck with Nancy! I'm sure she has already about pissed through her $6,000. Go ahead and try to get your name put on mommy's deed. It might be in the slums of Pittsburgh!
Emmett is going to be a wonderful father. No doubts in my mind. A little girl named Lula would be perfect. But, he might need to hurry. I was only in labor with my first for 42 MINUTES! And I'm not telling you how big he was, as that's coming out in my next chapter! Anyway... I'm wondering why he couldn't stay with George for a while. He would certainly be protected from the whiny, screechy mouse! And George's house is big enough that he should have been able to have his own wing. Can you imagine the fun Emmett would have dressing up a baby girl?
