Begins during the Rage launch party in 220. Much of Brian may seem out of character here, because... well... who is Brian, really?
NOTE: Please remember that literary license is being taken with the factual aspect of the medical diagnosis of amnesia here. Although Transient Global Amnesia is a factual diagnosis, it is usually of very short duration, and quite rare, no matter what television and stories try to make of it. My interpretation, since this is fiction, is a bit longer than medically factual.

This was a great little story!! And why was I not surprised that he felt nothing for Michael and Lindsay? They both just walked right in they owned the place, and him. They never really understood what was really going on with Brian.

Thank you! In my opionion, pre-amnesia Brian's relationships with Michael and Linday developed over time and were based on experiences they shared, good and bad. Even the overstepping and intrisive behaviors were mixed with friendship memories for Brian. He overlooked a hell of a lot because, in his mind, they had been there for him when he pretty much felt he had no one else. Unfortunately, they took advantage of that. Now, he doesn't remember those experiences and is not willing to put up with the 'bad' behaviors from strangers. Personally I think they just didn't *care* what was going on with Brian because, to them, their relationships with Brian were much more important to them than Brian himself was.

Thanks for commenting, Sarah <3 You and the other readers kept my spirits up when I was hit by the virus from hell (not Covid but something equally nasty) that started just before I posted and then got much worse. I was knocked out for months.
I have good news. It looks like I will have a short one-shot for the upcoming change to standard time :) If you are following my other stories, there will also be a (not so short) sequel to Contortions!

Just like on the show, Brian and Justin had sex that first night Justin went to Liberty Avenue. After that, the story goes off-canon and Brian will find out that there is more to Justin than meets the eye. Justin isn't just a normal trick like all the others.

This was great!! And I loved the drama with the car accident added in as well. As sad as the whole incident was, it brought everyone together. And I really like Brian and Mel's relationship. I love how they aren't sniping at each other, but actually get along. And I was so happy to see Brian propose again to Justin. Will there be another sequel to the story? I sure hope so.....
