Brian and Justin have lived together in NYC for several years now.  Brian comes home upset one day when he finds out his newest client needs him to go on a business trip...on a slow moving train to Chicago instead of a quick flight.  Brian is even more upset that he will have to leave Justin behind, due to artistic committments, for such a long trip.  But maybe Justin has other ideas in mind.  Let's all take a journey on the Love Train.  Thanks to Eka for the beautiful banner....my first one...and Becky for helping me with her beta skills.

Brian is a busy ad exec who has just won an all gay cruise as the prize in a charity raffle. His friends convince him it is time to get away and relax a little.   Brian looks forward to a little fun but gets a lot more than he bargained for when he meets his cabin steward, a young man named Justin who is working to earn money for tuition to an art academy. 

Finally did it...my very first crossover story, and my QAF muse has come back home too.  So I hope you'll enjoy this new story.  For those who love Spartacus (and especially Agron and Nasir) you'll know them well.  This story is set during the revolt of the slaves of Rome between 73 B.C. and 71 B.C.  I have done my best to be as accurate to true history as I can, but the story is based on the way history is told by the Starz series, 'Spartacus'.  I've changed Brian and Justin's names slightly to fit what was used in that time period.  All the names I've used for characters are accurate according to my research.  At the beginning none of the four men have met and spent any time together.  I promise you, that will change quite quickly.  The Agron/Nasir part of the story is more canon, while the Brian (Brion)/Justin (Justinus) part of the story is certainly AU. I hope you will enjoy the blending of these two magnificent couples.

I hope you will enjoy this story that was inspired by my weekend watching of an old movie called 'The Full Monty'. I want to thank Judy from my heart for her great beta skills and my darling Amy for the shiny banner. On top of that I just want to dedicate this to a few ladies who have supported and honored me with their readership for so very long and then turned into personal friends that I am truly grateful for. Brian is a detective with the New York City police department. He gets a case concerning a wealthy art patron who has been murdered in his home. The last person seen with the man is a young artist named Justin Taylor. Taylor has disappeared and is suspected of being the killer. Brian must try and find the young man and bring him back to justice but things become complicated when he discovers that someone else is hunting young Taylor and they seem to want him dead. What happens when the hunted and the hunter finally meet and an instant attraction develops?

Story #10 of The Sunshine Files
