Flashback to Halloween with the family...

This happened during the talks between B/J and the gang. I didn’t include that part in the previous chapter because I wanted to focus on the meetings and first impressions. Oh and this will also tell the story about our guys.

The family learns about Brian's secret... how will they react? Who'll be happy for Brian?

3rd part of the "Consequences" series.

Justin’s new client is an arrogant prick, but he’s rich and has great taste. So who’s he to turn down the huge commission for his interior design?

Brian has been acting strange for several weeks. Michael decides to search the loft while Brian is out of town on business to see if he can find any clues to his best friend's recent behavior. What he finds is a copy of Brian's will. And now he wants to know... just who the hell is Justin Taylor and why is Brian leaving him his entire estate?

“All I’m saying is, someone should have called Justin.”

The blond young man standing outside the door to the diner was surprised to hear his name in a conversation coming from inside.

“Brian told me not to. What was I supposed to do, go against his wishes and do it anyway?” Justin recognized this voice -- Michael.

“I know he told you not to. I was there.” Ben. “I said it then, and I’ll say it again now: It’s disrespectful to Justin to not tell him, or at least warn him ahead of time. Can you imagine what it’s going to be like Justin walks in and sees him?”

This was why he didn’t do boyfriends. He didn’t do love. He didn’t do commitment. Because when you do boyfriends...love...commitment...you let yourself get attached. When you do boyfriends, you hope and pray they won’t ever leave you. Because if they do, you’ll feel like your soul has been torn out and you have nothing left to live for.

This is a song fic based on Lifehouse's "Flight." It takes place shortly after the series finale.

Brian is rewarded for a job well done with an all expense paid vacation in the Florida Keys and the use of his client's private estate on one of the islands. He and Justin have a romantic getaway that is rudely interrupted by an approaching hurricane. Will our boys survive another brush with violence, this time by Mother Nature?

This story had been inspired by a documentary I watched about Hurricane Andrew.  I wish to thank my friend, Pat, for her beta help and my dear Granddaughter, Amy, for my banner.

Brian and Justin look back on their feelings for each other a few months after Justin moves to New York City and they come to a mutual conclusion as to those feelings.  This is another of my short stories that likes to try and get inside the thoughts of our beloved Brian and Justin.  Hope you enjoy it.  I apologize for any errors as this one was never beta'd.  However, I do want to thank my friend, Gerri, for her thoughtful banner.
