HA! Michael so deserves the Panda look. Zee proves that the hand is quicker than the eye. Now that Jenny knows that little trick, I wonder if she'll ever have the chance to put it to good use?? LOL! A life lesson that could very well come in handy.
Gus was too cute talking to his dads. Is that what he wanted to talk to them about? That Phil guy or was there something else? I guess now we have to wait till Saturday. Brian and Justin got a bit side tracked. ;)
And curious about what plans are in the works for Zee's dad. There was mention a little bit ago, and he's another one that will surely deserve some angst coming his way. Has he been doing anything naughty on the sides that we are unaware of and if so, what and when will he be caught out? Uncle Luc and Aunt D are planning something good I'm sure.
And Phil is DONE! Oh what an incredible relief for that poor bloke! So now the two nunbnuts need to find new representation if they plan to appeal. Somehow....I just don't see that happening.
Can I just say...Ron ROCKS! And it's about bloody frigging time he put his foot down. Not sure what Nancy's deal is. She's too concerned about how it will look, than anything about her own daughter. No wonder Lindsey grew up to be the person she is. She learned at the knee of her mother. I simply can't wait to see Lindsey and Michael actually having to lift a finger to earn their keep. And Ron will be able to monitor if they're actually keeping up with their duties as well. I can see them falling down on the job and Ron will then kick them out of that property as well. Not another free ride for either of them. Mind you, why he continues to assist Michael is beyond me, but what ever. Any money he may have made selling Michaels collectables would be long gone by now.
So much has happened and there's still so much more coming!!! There's no way that either Michael or Lindsey are out for teh count. they will continue to try to manipulate any situation and any person to try to get their way. Further downfalls I'm sure are coming their way. They'll still need to get jobs as they may be getting free rent in trade, but they still need expenses as well as legal fees as Ron is stopping that as well. Hopefully Nancy stays clear of that or else she'll be joining them. What will either of them do?

Well it's Monday and as usual, I have a TON of reviews to catch up on. I have to say, I was glued to KD all weekend. checking back time and time again, to see of there was an update. lol. Needless to say I was THRILLED to see them. Such an exciting time happening right now in this story. such a thrill to read each update, yet as I'm reading, I can see via the side bar, that the chapter is coming to an end. Makes me want to read slower, just to prolong it, yet at the same time, I'm too imaptient to see what happens next. Such is the dillema of a reader.
Nancy and Ron are confusing me now. How informed in Nancy now? Is she aware of Lindsey's constant come-ons to Faal? Is aware of the house in Toronto? She certainly left teh dinner table quickly enough when the subject came up. I know it's assumed she doesn't know anything, but.....Either way, Ron is definitely pissed. I think he is coming to the end of his rope as far as both she and Lindsey are concerned. How seriously do they think Milly is? I believe Ron gets it, but I wonder if Nancy is so far up her own ass.....
I've gotta ask....which video are we talking about here? Everyone seems to be in a state about it.
Linsey and Michael are unbelieveable! They actually think they can just take teh kids to Canada? Adn the court case?!?! Holy crap! I nearly howled with laughter when Lindsey was saying she wanted to raise the kids knowing they had to work for things. not expect things handed to them! I mean really......there's hypocrisy and then there's Lindsey. another LOL worthy moment..Actually....I half burst out laughing, have almost hurled...was when Mr. Soloman asked Lindsey if she and Michael were going to enter into a romantic relatioship. BAHAHA! I have to admit...it wouldn't shock me. but it certainly would make me want to vomit!! LOL.
I'm kidn of awe, (and not in a good way) at how stupid these 2 really are. I mean, they are going to court for numerous different reasons, yet neither seem to have read any contract, any piece of paper, anyhing at all! She's genuinely flummoxed about the rental agreement for the toronto house...and she signed it!! The support papers as well. My head is reeling at her complete and utter stupidity adn laziness. The assumption that her needs will always be taken care of.
Then there's Michael. That was.........breathtakingly, unbelievably fabulous!! I literally dropped my jaw reading that. I can't believe he did that. So now he's taken away to the cells...again. Doubt he's going to get out tonight.
I hope that Zee really does as the judge suggested and gets a TRO. she just may need it.
Aother incredibly exciting few chapters!! I'm on pins and needles waiting for what you have happen next. So thrilling!!

LOL! No worries Nicole! It just means that us great minds are thinking alike. In fact, the next chapter of ADLS has a similar "Justin's memory" storyline and somehow as I was typing it out, I was like 'really? this is the way its going to happen?' Mine is taken more from the clinical approach but his memory is triggered fully in a most emotional way. The same thing happens/ happened with my a few other WIPs but the good thing about it, is that everyone's take is different and Thank goodness for creative license because where would we all be without that!

I feel so incredibly sad for Emily right now. An apology letter isn't going to undo the pain and damage that Lindsay has done. And I find it absolutely disgusting that after Lindsay had Brian's child herself, she would invite Emily to events that specifically had to do with Gus, to rub it in Emily's face that she had what Emily so desperately wanted. I think it would be karmic justice on Lindsay's nasty, used up ass and dirty stretched out that if Brian WAS somehow able to give Emily the child she so badly wanted and rightfully deserved. Emily and her wife wouldn't put Brian through the bullshit about their child that Lindsay and to an extent, Mel, did to him with Gus. This is all just wishful thinking. But I do hope Emily and even Brian, get some form of justice for what Lindsay robbed them of.

Oh I hope this is the final straw for Mel! I have a pretty good idea the kids will be ok with it. Jenny has certainly been hinting at it for long enough. Gus has pretty much had it with her as well. she may be his mother biologically, but Mel is so much better at mothering. she doesn it honestly. For lindsey, Gus is merely a pawn in her games. She maes the arguement of not staying away from Gus, but isn't he only a few months away from 18? (sorry, I can't remember) I'm thinking he can make that decision for himself either way. If Mel does end it (fingers frossed) she has a HUGE support network who will help her and the kids adjust. (I really don't think it'll be a huge adjustment tbh!)
Oh I hope Mel really sticks to her guns on this! she may have changed teh locks, but I hope she doesn't give Lindsey a key. I can't believe Lindsey doesn't think she said anything wrong!! Unbelievable! THEN she has the frigging audasity...the utter gaul to contact that robert Caswell guy!! Like nobody will be able to find out she initiated this. she's so caught up in her machinations, she's become an absolute stupido as well!
OMG!!!!!!!! Oh how I WISH there was a possible pic for us to see! what I wouldn't give to be in that particular circle, just to be a part of that photo being spread around. First an answer to your questions. Wraak is zoet can be translated in revenge is sweet. Or revenge is a dish best served cold. And there isn't really a Dutch word for kapow but in my part of the country we say: Vol op je muil gaan (which would roughly translate into: Slamming face first into a brick wall) also known as: total and utter humiliation.
NOw back to the story and the chapter. I get more and more exited when an update comes up.
You are spinning a story here towards the most exquisit revenge ever plotted out. And everybody is pitching in, Ted and Jennifer: who would have tought them this devious. Little J: OMG that is a master in the making.
Mel: I do hope she will finally see the light and leave Lindsay. Leda would be so good, no perfect, for her as a partner. Jenny would love to have a butch mother instead of that pussy Lindsay.
Blondy and little Whiney will be torn to pieces, ground into dust and scattered to the four winds when this story is done. Serves then right!!

Loved the details on the glassblowing with Zee. Now that sounded like fun. something I'd personlly love to try sometime. Each kid having a particular part to makes them all the more special. Really nice touch!
REally proud of Mel in this chapter when she really told off Lindsey. Had to know that Lindsey was going to try anything to get her hands on the clothes. So frustrating! No respect at all. Blasting Lindsey as well on the inequality between Brian and Michael was also much needed. Naturally Lindsey sees it as a slight towards her. sulking because she's not getting her own way. What a childish brat she is. She show's her level of immaturity perfectly when she makes that comment about Zee's countertop. Kind of wish she's start getting a clue. (Only kinda 'cause the alternate makes for such fun reading!! LOL)
What the hell is Michael doing? He's really trying to ingratiate himself back into the circle isn't he? sucking up to Brian, and then the kids...if he thinks it's going to work he's got another thing coming. Now he's going to bring up the whole Kip Thomsa thing again. doesn't Brian already know about that? If not, it's not like he's going to flip out. It's been years for heaven's sake. Michael is just going to spend $$ on trying to find Kip...ARG! He's such a complete fuck up! And the audacity of thinking his mother will trade display cases. He needs even more smack downs. He's slimed his way back into the group, but it really can't go on much longer. I'm chimping at the bit to have him and Lindsey both smacked down in a BIG way!!
The launch is a HUGE success. Wasn't concerned at all for that. The menu sounds amazing. (side note...I keep looking up the recipes for so many of the dishes you've mentioned in this story. LOL. So many I want to try. :) I'm sucha foodie.)

Michael is simply an idiot. I was really looking forward to when he had that meeting with the investor and I was definitely not disappointed. Absolutely hilarious! Once again, Michael is left with nothing. No money, no store, no hope. He's just so delusional thinking everythign that's happened to him is everyone else's fault. I can't believe he was going to try to screw Jenny out of that money for teh WW doll!!! What a comlete and untter ASSHOLE! We all know that's waht he was going to do. He'd give some kind of lame excuse to Jenny. then he has a great opportunity with Jenny that week and completely screws it up and Jenny ends up paying the price for it. thankfully Ben is able to step in dispite what Michael efforts of stopping it.
YAY for Hunter! Wow. What a terrific opportunity for him and Justin is thrilled too. Benefits all around. Hunter's boss is so impressed. Lindsey is going to shit bricks now that she's going to be working at the Bloom Gallery. she'll think that she has a way in with Justin to show his art at "her" gallery. Pfffffffft. So not going to happen. I wonder if she's going to try to undermind Hunter now. What's funny is that Hunter will gain a great reputation from this and I can totally see Lindsey shooting herself in the foot. Hunter will more than likely have an even higher position than Lindsey. HAHAHA! Love it! Even greater is that Hunter will have the support of everyone around him. I have so many scenarios running through my head. LOL!

I have GOT to ask.........what the hell is Michael thinking?! does he really think he's capable ot taking care of Jenny?! Does he really think that Jenny is going to even WANT to go there for the week? She's old enough to make up her own mind at this point. At least the courts would take her feeling into consideration at this point, if it ever came to that. At least Mel has an inkling of what a disaster this is all going to be. Am I terrible for REALLY looking forward to that blow out!?! lol. Now that he's seeing the value of what his store could be, the value of what Rage could be, he wants Justin back in. Not likely!!

Michael really can't believe that everyone is not going to just forgive him and go back to the status quo, I would say grow up but Michael never learned to be an adult so why should he start now, all his stuff is gone, his marriage is over, he only has one person on his side and yet he still won't believe that any of this is his fault.
What are they going to do with that stupid statue? I say carve it up and send a piece to Michael lol
Lindsay really needs to watch her back cause first Jennifer is gonna kick her ass, then Zee is going to make her disappear if Faal doesn't do it first.
David actually turned out to be a decent guy who has a wonderful partner who is going to be more interesting as the story progresses.
Lindsay falling in the pool was so pathetic but I love when that ghost pepper attacked her, Jennifer told her off and everyone changed seats.
I can't wait for the next chapter, I could use more laughs from The Gruesome Twosome and their stupid antics.

Yeah can you imagine the state of their livers is that was more than once a month!
Michael is so used to being forgiven for all his mistakes that he can't see how this is any different. Statue issue has been addressed now, as tempting as it would be to carve it up, this methinks was so much better.
As per Princess Buzzkill she hasn't got a clue and only sees the white picket fence picture...Faal is too much of a gentleman to deal with her the way she deserves, Zee has no such qualms and neither does Jennifer.
I was going to write David as a continued bad guy but changed my mind, and Charles is going to be very interesting indeed.

Normally I have little sympathy for those with hangovers, but everyone deserved to tie one on the night before. Definitely a night worthy of celebration.
Is Lindsey bi polar or just such agood WASP that she's able to turn shit on and off so quiclky and smoothly. Does she really think she's not obvious or doesn she just not care? does she think she's some kind of catch? The pool thing...another brilliant move on teh writer's part. Had to see it coming when Faal mentioned needing pool shoes. I was looking forward to it! LOL. I'm wondering how long it will take for her to get a clue? what kind of machinations she will attempt and what the repercussions will inevitably be. So lookiing forward to he r making a comoplete ass of herself! lol. Her attempts were utterly pathetic!
