Brian's still a stud, and his usual sarcastic self, but he's missing the blond boy he foolishly threw out of the loft (even if he did think he had good cause at the time) and it's affecting his behavior. And no one's so perfect that they don't have awkward moments, Brian included; we're sharing some of the ones CowLip would've excised. :D Plus, with Ted meeting the hunky professor and developing some self-confidence much earlier than canon, he's more than able to hold his own with Brian. We're proud of our favorite brunet for actually talking to Justin and issuing an apology - that's progress! :)

Dr Dave is completely enamored with Michael, and Brian quite likes it that way - the doc keeps his childhood friend occupied. We'll have to see whether Brian will take Michael to task or not; he's so used to Michael criticizing Justin that he tends to ignore it. You probably don't have much to worry about as far as Justin creating a comic book with Michael; he has neither the time nor the interest.

Sydney seems to be growing on everyone. :D We love the way she keeps wrong-footing Dixon. :D

It's horrid to be caught up with a WIP and waiting for the next chapter. :( We'll try to have a new installment for you soon. :)

A good time was had by Army-Navy and Brian. :D Our favorite brunet may discover the next morning that he didn't know his limits quite as well as he thought. :D

There's no immediate likelihood that Justin will return to the loft. We suspect that if that does happen, Justin will still make sure to spend plenty of time with his adopted family. :) And Brian may not despise family things quite as much as he professes.

Hmm... Justin and Brian are both very stubborn men, often to their detriment. Justin is bound and determined to amass as much money as possible to repay Brian for the burgled goods, all without Brian learning what he's doing.

We agree - Marty and Kip deserve each other.

Can you imagine being surrounded by that much comic book memorabilia (outside of a shop, that is)? Emmett had to put up with it to some extent since he moved into Michael's apartment, but still... We can't blame canon Dr Dave for being horrified when Michael moved in, although he should have been willing to compromise, if he really wanted it to be 'their' place.

Ssh! Don't give Michael ideas! Brian would have to move. :P

Thank goodness Justin has Daphne on his side - that's what a best friend should be like. :) Frau Rose, the English teacher cum librarian, is in his corner too. :)

We still chuckle when we read the scene where Cynthia cockblocked Brian. Blondes rule! :D

Justin's encounter with Jed was indeed fortuitous - and the impetus behind our responsible Justin. :)

Not that we agree with the way Brian acted toward Justin, but in the guy's defense, he was feeling very vulnerable after the burglary - all the possessions he'd acquired through hard work gone and his personal space violated. Plus, he's clueless that he's in a relationship with Justin.

Justin and his bottomless stomach! :D Both will feature in the story again.

That's an interesting theory about Second Hand Job and Brian's stolen goods. We'll have to see how that plays out...

We're made up that you're enjoying the devloping friendship between Brian and Ted. Ted's self-confidence is increasing ever since meeting Ben. :) There seems to be a consensus among our readers that Ted and Ben make a good couple - they actually have a lot in common.

The relationship between Ben and Michael was weird. Maybe it was a case of opposites attracting and Ben wanting to serve as a mentor to his partner.
