Stubborn and rude: Michael is really not getting better with age.

I don't know why, but Brian's "And who the fuck are you?" didn't bother me much.

Yeah, puppies' adventures: I guess Brian will get some fun stories to share with the puppies.

Aaahh, Brian and the pup: that would make anyone swoon. And, yes, Justin can be so predictable regarding the idea of a shower with Brian. Who wouldn't?

Thank you for this delightful escape.

Excellent!!!! I love when Michael doesn't get his way.

A few sentences that I love :

"The follicles on Brian's skin pebbled as Justin's breath ghosted across the fine hairs on his neck. Those hairs weren't the only thing to stand on end, a jolt of arousal coursing through Brian."

"A couple beats later, from the other side of the wall, long, slender fingers met his. Each of them had gripped the other's hand tightly, their grunts becoming louder as they fucked, the tricks largely forgotten."

This one was a surprise; Ted is full of wilderness:"We had a threesome," Blake disclosed."

Author's Response:

I'll take that "Excellent!!!!" <3 Thank you, Claire.

Thanks also for sharing some of the bits you liked best; you know how much I appreciate that. :) That moment in Woody's is also one of my favorites from the chapter. Well, okay, I like all three of the ones you quoted (duh), but that one is extra special.

Ted and Blake know how to pull off a surprise :D

I more than enjoyed this tale! It's witty, snarky, a little emotional and we learn something very important to our hearts regarding Justin.

The 48h fuck-fest and the consequences on Brian's behaviour during meetings had me laughing.

Brian and the T-shirt is also hilarious and so is the swear jar.

The "Jushun" gets me every time.

And then, Brian with his son: so well written!

Author's Response:

I'm thrilled you enjoyed this first chapter so much, Claire! Thanks for the wonderful comments. :) Thanks also for letting me know the bits you especially liked.

Yeah, that "Jushun" gets me too. That's going to be Justin's name in every story of mine that features a young Gus.

I had loads of fun writing Brian, Gus, and Mel together. JR, too, although she didn't utter a single word, poor teething tyke.

Hot and hilarious! I would never have thought someone would dare having a SBD in a story. And to have Brian experience it was the cherry on the top, no pun intended.

Justin really is an accomplish and attentive lover, even when completely stoned.

Author's Response:

:D :D I'm thrilled that I made you laugh. Flatulence happens, right? :D I couldn't resist, and it just had to be Brian with the 'problem.'

Justin has skills that only Brian fully knows about :) Brian's one lucky guy.

Thanks for commenting, Claire. It's much appreciated.

Summary:

As the title says: This is it! The Wedding :)

This one will be a lot shorter than the previous fics in this universe and there will be a lot less angst. As the title says, this is about their wedding and I think we can all agree that they deserve a happy, angst-free wedding, right?!?

Funny and emotional: what a chapter!

Ted and Daphne's speeches were great; "the face of God" making an appearance is always a good idea to embarrass Justin. Vicky's questions were on point and also a little bit embarrassing for our guys.

The dance though: it must have been very hard on Brian.

Author's Response:

I am glad that you liked the chapter!

And I thought the "face of God" was perfect for a best woman speech at a wedding :)

Vicky is the best - her daddies and uncles should have known better than to bring themselves into this situation to begin with ;)

The dance was hard for Brian, but thankfully Justin knew and was tuned in to Brian's feelings and together they made new memories, better memories!

Thanks for your comment. More will be up soon :)

So glad that Bree initiated the reconciliation.

What an epic new part! So much happened!

I thought Bree might get to this stage, even if 10 is early. It must have been excruciating minutes for Justin, being "rejected" by his baby girl and not knowing why.

Summary: At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Justin felt like being stuck at home alone with Brian had been a blissful blessing in disguise.

Several months into it? Not so much.

It's the first story I read here with the Covid "feature" and I really loved it.

First of all, it's a plausible vision of what could happen in the home of a couple.

Second, it's a very plausible vision of what could happen to Brian and Justin, with all their strengths and weaknesses, after so many years together in such a dramatic situation. The text exchange was very moving, even if it was short. The reaction to the drawings was so emotional from Brian, that I also had tears in my eyes. I loved how Brian respected Justin's need for distance and let him know he was important. The fact that Justin listened to Daphne and started simple drawings was the beginning of the healing. The subject of the drawings was obvious, but the way we discovered them was endearing. The fact that Justin didn't want their reconnection to be immediate was logical and right. Their talk was so well written and on point!

Third, Cynthia and Daphne's help was on point and also well described.

So, thank you for this tale!!!

Happy and healthy year to you as well :)

Loved this story! Your style is awesome!

I picked a few quotes that I especially appreciated for different reasons, obviously: blunt, deep hurt and reality check.

“Trust me, only the absolute best goes into Justin’s mouth… these days.”

“The soundtrack of you leaving me,” Brian whispered.

“It turns out, I learned that you don’t actually get to choose who you love, and instead, sometimes, trying not to love that person hurts even more.”
