I guess we'll find out, won't we? ;) I'm glad the attention to detail isn't "too much." Sometimes I get afraid that I'm getting bogged down in some of that, but I like to paint every bit of the picture, so...yeah. And this Justin! Yes. I love him. He's great. I kind of want to write his POV for a bit too. Maybe he'll do an epilogue for us. We'll see how it feels by the end.

I freaking loved Cynthia's reaction to the news - and hearing how Brian helped out her and her mom made me all warm and fuzzy. It was SUCH a Brian thing to do, and to not expect anything in return. But I am so glad she is getting the chance to repay the favour. And seeing her hustle him out the door was brilliant, and stepping on his foot to shut him up... that is totally the friendship I see them having.
I feel so sorry for Brian right now, his body must be exhausted. I am glad he'll be working from home for the next two weeks. I can see him and Cynthia having many bickering moments on the phone, but more so, so it keeps her "in her place" LOL.
The phone call makes me nervous. Like will Justin get offered Hollywood and he refuses and Brian loses his shit? He needs to let Justin make his own decisions. I really hope he knows that Justin isn't just there because he feels obligated. I don't think he thinks that, he says it, but I think deep down he knows how much Justin cares.

Cynthia's story about what Brian did for her was all Sandi's idea -- I loved it and I'm so glad it worked well here. I agree that it is such a good fit for the character, even in canon. It's exactly what he'd do. He wouldn't even want anything in return. The less recognition, the better.

This story gives me so many feels, I just can't deal with it. But I love it. I have said this to you on NUMEROUS occasions how much I love your writing - it's not just your style, but you write the stuff I WANT/NEED to read.
I will start with the cute, just because, Brian wearing Justin's oversized hoodie because he was cold gave me the smiles, I bet it smelt like him too and he liked that, but he'd never admit it ;)
Brian admitting he missed Justin made my heart so happy. He needed to feel the loneliness of the day before to really appreciate Justin being there for him.
Poor Brian being stuck at home for so long, I hope he doesn't start picking up a silly hobby like crochet LOL
Still, the phone call makes me nervous. LOVING THIS SO MUCH, GIRRRRRRL!

Wanna know a secret? I get so excited by these updates, but I sometimes force myself to wait a day to read them because I don't want to have to wait too long for the next chapter, which makes NO sense at all LOL. But it's like I love knowing I have a new chapter waiting for me :)
I love how gentle Debbie is in this, she truly does care about Brian... and while we did see that in the show, you show it better :D
Also, I love me a little Brian and Gus time, even if it was short lived. You can tell how happy that little boy makes him.
God, that call at the end though, Brian is gonna be so mad, like ass kicking mad. Eeeep

I really think this is what happened, donim saying it IS cannon, k? The way Deb would have happily had Brian live with them, even if it meant she struggled more then she already was made my heart hurt but also fill with love all st the same time. I dread to think what happened that night Brian came home. Hopefully Jack left him alone to recover ... but I doubt he let Brian off easily.
And omg I bet Deb was the first person to ever really hug him, that makes my heart ache :(
