Brian uses his pain management techniques, but do they still work?   

This story is dedicated to the show's creators, Ron Cowen and Daniel Lipman, who were gracious enough to enthusiastically entertain my endless questions when I met them recently at a television festival in Austin. They insist that Brian and Justin were meant to be together; that they'd never imagined that Brian and Justin would stop seeing each other after Justin left Pittsburgh for NYC. I still think it wasn't that easy and perhaps took years, but I respect their vision and want to do honor to it with this little tale.

In this AU, vampire Justin meets human Brian. Justin's past follows him to the city, where he decides to make his home for a while. Can these two men learn to accept and trust each other? What kind of obstacles will they have to overcome to be together?

When Brian hears over the radio that Babylon was subjected to a bombing, all he can concentrate on is racing to his club to make sure the people he loves are alive and safe. He doesn't expect to be irreversibly injured himself. As Brian faces a slow recovery and a permanent disability, he must learn to accept the support of his friends and the love of his partner.

There's an emergency at Babylon and only the likes of Rage can save the day!

Justin finds out what Brian likes, and realises he likes it just as much. Set during S2 when they confirm their relationship and have fun together.
