AU / Post-513 Justin and Brian meet one another flying back and forth from Pittsburgh to New York.

It's hard for Brian to kick Justin out. Once he does, does he let him back in? Will he be worth the emotions and the challenges to come?

Here I go with my first multi-chaptered story in over 3 years.  I really hope you will enjoy it.  Some time ago someone suggested the idea of turning around the series plot involving the Prom bashing 180 degrees, and then seeing what might have happened if it was Brian who was Hobbs' victim rather than Justin.  I found the idea intriguing, so I'm going with it.  Of course there will be drama and angst, but just remember how my stories end up and take heart.  So without delay, here is the beginning of a whole new light on the love story of Brian and Justin.  

But first, of course, I must give my undying appreciation to my dear Judy for her beta help.  And a special appreciation to the very talented and thoughtful Kim for the evocative banner for my story.  I love you girls dearly.

Six years Post-Series. Justin comes home for good.

Brian decides to keep the rings.

What if Brian and Justin hadn't moved so fast after the bombing? What if they had talked things over and began a more open relationship? Would Lindsay have had the same success in making them part ways? Or would they have stayed together?

It's been a year, a year full of pain and sorrow. A year in which nothing meant anything for Brian. After losing Justin at the bombing in Babylon everything was white and black.

However... what will happen if one day suddenly everything changed? What if he had never really met Justin? Then why does he remember everything they had gone through while the rest of the gang doesn't even know who Justin is?

Brian wins a month long sea cruise...so Michael decides to move their relationship from PG to Rated R.  But things get in Michael's way...
