This was written immediately after S3 ended. It's canon friendly and deals with the aftermath of Stockwell's defeat and Brian's financial situation.

512 - Brian's reevaluating his life and options (at first I thought that this story was going to be mostly angst... But then Brian surprised me and did the right thing...)

Justin gets fed up with Brian's tricking and decides to give him a taste of his own medicine.

Justin has moved to New York and he and Brian have decided to call it quits. But a few bottles of wine make Justin want to go back in time.

Takes place years after Justin left for New York.  He and Brian have both gone on with their lives, rarely seeing one another.  When Justin receives a mysterious call from Michael, he drops everything and heads back to Pittsburgh and Brian determined to do what-ever he must to fix the problem.

Brian Kinney has rented a summer house on Fire Island for his first vacation in years. His plan is to spend the summer experiencing all the various delights - and men - this Gay Mecca has to offer. His first night there, though, he’s confronted by a hot little blond townie with an agenda who refuses to accept Brian’s rule that he doesn’t do repeats. The two men make a bet - If Justin can keep Brian amused and entertained all summer, then Brian will give him a job come fall. Little did Brian know just how determined and inventive Justin really was.

It all starts when Brian ‘saves’ Justin, but Justin isn’t down a well and Brian isn’t a hero. In fact, they actually sort of hate one another after this but that doesn’t stop them from playing their own games. Neither one of them want a boyfriend but due to unstoppable forces that’s what they’ll become. Not that they’ll admit it. Brian and Justin will reach a point that they’ll have to decide to move forward together or stop ‘whatever they are doing’ and go back to life without one another. You could say that it’s a bit of a challenge.
