This is a plot bunny by Deb Tanner. I hope I can do it justice, as I feel like a duck-out-of-water here. But I love the concept.

They say that revenge is a dish best served cold - well some hotness is always nice isn't it? Meet Ted Schmidt, according to former friend Michael Novotny, he's one of those pathetic suckers put on earth to be taken advantage of. Because of Ted, Michael has the life that Ted could only dream of. Between him and his wife Lindsay, they run Rage PR Inc, the best public relations agency in the Northwest Frontier, well according to them...the people they represent, not so much. They want to expand and think themselves unstoppable, untouchable but they're about to find out how wrong they are. Because into Ted's life come three men; Ben, Brian and Emmett - they decide to teach those two liars a lesson they will never forget and put them exactly where they're supposed to be. But lurking in the shadows is Luther, what does he want and how far will he go to get it.

It’s 2017 and the Pittsburgh covens of Liberty-Pitts, ruled by King Craig and Queen Jennifer with their adopted daughter Lindsay, and Le Mont Washington, ruled by brother and sister, Lord Victor and Lady Deborah and her adopted sons Michael and Christopher, have kept a relatively low profile integrating into society. They source their blood from blood banks and no longer feeding from humans. But now the Taylors and the Grassis want to abdicate, leaving the way for their children to ascend.

One problem, neither Michael nor Lindsay are pure vamps, so would need to rule with another half-blood. What if Brian had taken the job in New York in season 1? After three years in New York, Brian returns home to Pittsburgh to find that things and more importantly people have changed. 

This was one of my first attempts at fan fiction and I am not 100% happy with it. Still I decided that some people might like and appreciate it anyway. 

Justin is coming up on his fortieth birthday, not that he cares. He’s lived the life of Riley  since he was seventeen. But now he’s back home, at the request of his father. What he wants after kicking him out all those years ago he doesn’t know.
