Officer Brian Kinney is a beat cop who has only one goal...becoming detective.  One night he runs into a troubled kid named Justin Taylor who is about to do something stupid, but it is later when Brian meets the kid a second time that the two begin to feel a connection.  What happens between these two disparate and yet connected souls as life throws one roadblock after another at them.  I want to offer my deepest gratitude to Amy for the perfect banner and my friend Pat for her beta skills.

Justin comes back to Pittsburgh after disappearing for six years. No one heard anything from him and no one knows why he chooses to go away after his break-up with Ethan.
