Yeah Everyone Wants What Brian and Justin Have When They Grow Up It Is Priceless The Love and Mutual Respect They Have For One Another.
Brian is on a Business Trip and Justin Is Studying is all B & J's Avengers should say when Michael, Lindsay and Deb start screeching for Brian or Justin, they don't have the right to know anything else beyond those few short words.
Lindsay using Gus is no more surprising than Michael using Deb to get Brian to come running, thankfully Melanie will have support to help her protect Gus from Lindsay's Tantrums of Entitlement.
Now they will need to talk to Vic and Jennifer before they leave to get their place set up in California before work and school starts.
Justin yet again is making quite a name for himself and was able to do it before he even finished high school and what have Michael and Lindsay accomplished in the many years they have had before Justin showed up?
I was wondering why Justin didn't get a new phone too but now that it has been explained it makes sense for now.
Ted and Cynthia are smart enough to see where their loyalty lies and to trust that neither Brian or Justin will ever steer them wrong.
Ryder and Vance are going to wish they hadn't played Brian because now he can write his own ticket and surround himself with people who have the same drive and passion to succeed as him.
I get the feeling Vic will be moving out of Deb's home soon must be time for Michael to come running home expecting Brian ready to play his games, plus with Brian ignoring his calls he is going to want to see for himself and confer with Lindsay that Justin is really gone.
Let Michael, Lindsay and Deb stew while Brian and Justin build up their armor to take them on later.

I finally got around to this... it was all I could do to read the last update... I've picked up a bug and have been running 103+ temp for four days now. But, I had to break down and read today.
About all I can sum this up to is: LET THE GAMES BEGIN! Subterfuge... Mel and Ted are on Gus duty. Ah, poor little princess Lindsay is not going to get her way.
Michael sure has some the mouth on him... doesn't he? Is it wrong for me to wish the three of them make a trip to the Liberty Diner when Deb is not working and Justin activates Michael's malicious words so everyone in there could hear him? Nothing else has to be spoken by the three of them. Just Michael's voice messages. Just let him TRY to come back to the Avenue after that! By doing it that way, the words are right out of the horse's mouth, and not hearsay.
AND - I REALLY hope that Justin fills Mel in on that little comment Lindsay made about Justin being in an abusive relationship. Mel needs to know ALL and HOW FAR Lindsay was and is willing to go to keep Brian near and dear. And that comment is going to literally slay Brian. Yes, best to tell him when he is nowhere close to her.
And, I'm STILL standing by Justin getting his phone number changed. he does not need all those phone calls. Sure, he might be able to shrug them off, but I know if I was continually being told things like that and told how to live my life, I would eventually get VERY depressed.

Yes Emmett and Daphne will keep the secret just for the fun of watching Michael and Lindsay scramble to find Brian and keep Justin away.

Deb hasn't earned the right to know what is going on between Brian and Justin she she is bully who sees anyone not doing what she says are something to bulldoze over until they agree, likes Michael when he whines you just want the noise to stop so you sign over your soul then later realize the servitude doesn't end until you die ( Maybe?)
Deb expects everyone to worship at the Temple of Novotny especially Brian who she feels owes her his life because she patched up, fed him and allowed him access to get son, home and brother, so if he defies her she has the right to crush his spirit and leave him begging to get back in her good graces.
Too bad she hasn't realized that Brian doesn't need her form of "Love" anymore and unlike Michael he is Man Enough to stand on his own two feet .
I mean Brian left his family behind to make a name for himself in advertising and the world, so it wouldn't be hard to drop the other dead weight to continue to succeed.
Michael and Lindsay always thought Justin used Brian for his money but they were the ones with their hands out asking for more and more, Justin could support himself at seventeen while they can't function without Brian's money in their thirties it is sad and beyond pathetic that Justin is thrice the grown up they will ever be.
Vic, Jennifer, Fed and Cynthia will be so happy for Brian and Justin.
I would tell Lindsay, Michael and Deb Brian is in New York let them chase their tails there for she lol

I enjoyed Brian and Mel's talk. I, too, always thought the two of them could/would have been friends without the Lindsay dynamic. They are both career-driven and have similar personalities.
Interesting to find out they aren't going to disclose the 'marriage' just yet. I have to say, I saw the added comment you left on the plot bunny... btw... was this ONLY supposed to be a one-shot - as it doesn't say 'completed'. Anyway... wondering where you should take this... I know MY feelings/views would be to sit back (as Mel said) wait for the implosion and self-destruction, so that Lindsay's parental rights will have to be questioned... at which time, Melanie, Ted, Emmett, Vic, and possibly Daphne, will have to move to California... right along with Gus. Nothing like leaving the wet rags behind. Funny David is putting up with Michael and his incessant badgering of Justin and continually calling Brian. I'm sure that wasn't in his plans when they moved to Portland. It sounds like either Justin needs to get restraining orders, or have his number changed. Even if he's not taking their calls, they are still filling up his voicemail, and what better way to say 'Leave me alone'? And, how long before Jennifer has biting words with Debbie? But, Mel is right, Lindsay's true colors will SHINE when she finds out the truth. She will have NO use for Mel any longer. But they do need to get Gus away from Lindsay, because she will bleed then dry. And it's too bad that the DUMB BRIGADE will eventually learn that is where Brian is. But, no money, contributes to, no plane ticket.
I almost LOL when you referenced Melanie as Melvin. On one of my reviews in Kathleen's story, I made the same comparison. Nancy was so glad Lindsay might be straight... and I said her wife's name was Melanie... not Melvin. So, yeah... this was funny.
Lindsay blew through hers faster than a hooker could get a man off. Lord woman, where DO you come up with your terminologies? I get more chuckles reading some of the names and stuff you write. But, my question would be... how and on what... did she blow through THAT much money? (inconsequential... I know.)
So, after all my ranting... I'm looking forward to seeing how you let this play out... and what kind of excitement you will bring into their lives. (hmm... where did Kip move to?) LOL...

No one can get Deb to see reason when it concerns Michael and her need to be right and in control of everyone, I find it funny that a woman who hasn't had a relationship since the night Michael was conceived thinks she can tell Brian or anyone else how to act in a relationship.
First get one that lasts longer than a vibrator without buying new batteries then dole out advice, until then have fun in the dark with your joystick and your twenty pack of batteries.
Lindsay will be all sympathy and using Gus to spend time with Brian before she tries to slither her way back into Brian's bed.
Brian has a neon sign over his bed that reads No Pussy Ever Again, Especially Lindsay Peterson!!! and Lindsay would still try to slime her way into that bed.
Mel standing back to watch Lindsay should be amusing while she goes about making sure she and Gus are protected, no way is Lindsay going to change in her mind Brian is just denying he is bisexual and in love with her, so she will continue to try to play her games no reason why Gus has to be a pawn jus because Lindsay refuses to admit the truth which is so obvious.
I wouldn't delete those voicemails to Justin of Michael spewing his venom when the time comes and Deb crosses that line where nothing can repair the pain she has caused intentionally I would send them all to her then change my number immediately.
So Lynette is richer than Nancy and Ron huh?

Mel asking Brian to step back and not come to Lindsay's rescue will have more of Lindsay's true nature coming out, let's just hope Ron is ready to cut off the atm on his end too, time for Princess Lindsay to stand on her two feet and support herself without a safety net also a lesson Michael needs to learn too.

OMG!!!! It's after 2 AM EST and I'm sitting here rereading through the reviews, but this ONE! LMFAOOOOOOOOooooooooo I can't even stop laughing right now. I was sitting inside the doc's office the first time I read and had people side-eying me. But now my son has just come upstairs because he heard me guffawing loudly through the vents! OMG! I get she wants to make sure Lindsay will never change before moving on but it still eats at a persons psyche to know you are first in the eyes of your lover.
