This is a great addition to the universe. I have missed our writing and am so gld that your drought was ended by another story in this universe. Justin didn't give Brian a choice, but he thought he was doing the right thing. So hard to figure out who was right. Of course, Brian is an adut and should be able to make his own deciiosn- but Justin didn't want to see him get hurt either. Jusitn should not have made the decison for Brian but Brian should not have been so willing to neglect his health. Great lessons learned there.

Our fourth and final (I think) in the Man I Hate? the series has begun. Brian and Justin along with their boys, Aiden and Gus, along with Ted and Victor with their new ward, JR are heading home from the cabin. The boys will be heading back to school in a couple days. Ted and Victor are going to build their own cabin near Brian and Justin's and they are thrilled to be able to help with JR. They had always wanted a family and now they had one.
Justin's ex is threatening to take Aiden away and while Brian and Justin fear they may lose one of their sons, Ted and Victor may be adding one.
(Child abuse will be mentioned in a past memory at the beginning of this story.)

Author's Response: Thanks for you comments. I think I may have put you readers on “Overload”. 10(?) stories in the last few days. Truth-be-told…I’m not a “new” writer. I’m an old writer. These stories were written 20 years ago…when the show was new and ground-breaking…AIDS was rampant…being gay was not acceptable. We watched this show unroll, one episode per week…and the waiting was excruciating. It was my introduction to social media; I chatted with other watchers, trying to guess what would happen next, and someone introduced me to fan-fiction…and I was hooked. I started writing…and people started reading…and the rest is history.

Author's Response: I’m reposting stories from 20 years ago, because they’ve become inaccessible to readers. There’s a whole new generation of QAF fans…and I thought they might like to read these stories that were very popular when the show was brand new. They may be outdated…they may not fit today’s attitudes toward homosexuality,… but I think their character-analysis, particularly of Brian, stands-up to modern scrutiny. Perhaps when we’ve finally posted the last story (and I say “we” because it has taken three of us…myself, Lorie, and TAG to do it,”) I’ll write some more stories.
Let’s imagine Brian registers himself on a popular dating website OkCupid. Not that he is going to actually date someone, he just needs another place to hook up with hot guys. What would he write in his profile?

I'm not sure who I feel sorry for: Brian - feeling that Justin isn't telling him everything about Mark or Mark, for feeling that his feelings for Justin are unrequited. Or are they- I know Justin loves Brian but I think he does feel something for Mark, but isn't sure what to do with those feelings. Great story always love Brian and Justin together.
