I would like to offer you a solution to the mishap (of course this is a matter of opinion) that the producers of QAF called Season 5. This is my version of what caused the Season. It is a What If. I hope you will enjoy it. I promise the ending will be nothing like our last scene during the actual show.

This would be set around 2010. Brian would be around 38 and Justin would be around 26.

This fic is post-513 and it's actually more a less an extension of Disposition thematically. Brian and Justin are married and living in the house in West Virginia.

Brian and Justin have been together for a long time.  Written for Moonshadow's 2010 Valentine Challenge.

Brian got the job in New York and left Justin behind.

The story is set a dozen years after that final heart-wrenching scene, when the couple parted so that Justin could move to New York City. Eventually Brian joined him, and they both thrived in their careers. Unfortunately Brian's success has slowly caused an imperceptible wedge between them with his constant absences for work. Brian, fearing that their relationship is faltering, has decided to show Justin just how important he is to him by planning a Valentine's Day vacation he will never forget.
