A pivotal scene between Justin and Brian early in season five plays out differently, changing their relationship.    

Ten years post-513. Justin returns to Pittsburgh after a decade of absence due to a death in the family, only to receive some disturbing news.

Justin and Brian meet on a vacation. They continue to see each other until Justin gets tired of being a secret and begins to resent the barrier that Brian keeps between them. 

After Brian and Justin cancel the wedding, Lindsay and Michael try to persuade, or some would say bully, Justin into going and taking his chance in New York. Unfortunately for them, Brian has his own Cyrano to help him and Justin get to where they need to be.

This is such a wonderful story that leaves you wanting more. I loved every minute of watching Brian's masks slip away as he accepted his love and appreciation for Justin. It was also great seeing Brian discover he had members of his own family looking out for him. His Aunt and Uncle just accepted him no questions asked, and they respected Brian and Justin as a couple.  So much happens in this story that I believe makes Brian and Justin into the couple they were meant to be - SunshineSally

Brian is a busy ad exec who has just won an all gay cruise as the prize in a charity raffle. His friends convince him it is time to get away and relax a little.   Brian looks forward to a little fun but gets a lot more than he bargained for when he meets his cabin steward, a young man named Justin who is working to earn money for tuition to an art academy. 

The setting is post Season 5 by several months. Brian has developed a unique problem that he has only faced one other time. He turns to the psychologist who helped him with Justin's problem after the bashing in hopes of finding a solution. Will the good Doctor figure out the puzzle that is confronting Brian and help him solve it? I dedicate this to Lori, who had been a blessing in my present chaotic life and given me much needed incentive to get back to my writing. Hello again, my friends. Today I give you Chapter One of a brand new story. I promise you lots of sparkle, chills, thrills, sequins, and tights...not to mention romance...in this story set in post Stonewall, pre AIDS America where a small independent circus struggles to stay alive in a changing world. Their lead attraction is Trapeze star Brian Kinney and there are plenty of changes in store for him too when he meets the young man who is in desperate need of changes in his own life. What happens when these two souls meet and discover more than a love for the circus in common between them? I hope you will enjoy the journey.
