Justin is far from home after being accepted to PIFA and is rather scared. Like a little mouse he is running from life, his fears, and the soon to be met big bad cat by the name of Brian.

This is a continuation of "Close to Home II", the story where Brian is confined to a wheelchair.

Brian has not yet met Justin. He has other problems to deal with.

Post 513. Brian is missing Justin way more than is healthy for him and it’s showing up in some strange behavior. The gang starts to notice and they get worried. They eventually confront him, but will it do any good?

Here I go with my first multi-chaptered story in over 3 years.  I really hope you will enjoy it.  Some time ago someone suggested the idea of turning around the series plot involving the Prom bashing 180 degrees, and then seeing what might have happened if it was Brian who was Hobbs' victim rather than Justin.  I found the idea intriguing, so I'm going with it.  Of course there will be drama and angst, but just remember how my stories end up and take heart.  So without delay, here is the beginning of a whole new light on the love story of Brian and Justin.  

But first, of course, I must give my undying appreciation to my dear Judy for her beta help.  And a special appreciation to the very talented and thoughtful Kim for the evocative banner for my story.  I love you girls dearly.

Brian gets a Christmas Wish

It all starts when Brian ‘saves’ Justin, but Justin isn’t down a well and Brian isn’t a hero. In fact, they actually sort of hate one another after this but that doesn’t stop them from playing their own games. Neither one of them want a boyfriend but due to unstoppable forces that’s what they’ll become. Not that they’ll admit it. Brian and Justin will reach a point that they’ll have to decide to move forward together or stop ‘whatever they are doing’ and go back to life without one another. You could say that it’s a bit of a challenge.
