The 'Chicken soup' scene and it's aftermath.

With a bit of WASPy persuasion (aka Justin), the girls have decided to move back to the Burgh. Justin and Brian fly to Toronto to help them get underway. Things don't quite go according to plan.    

Summary: Justin has been hired into the art department at Kinnetik. He is in what he perceives as a loving relationship with his boyfriend Ethan. Slowly, he will begin to redefine that when his new boss returns from his trip. As Justin gets to know Brian – his very dominant and controlling boss – he will begin to learn things about his own true nature that he had long kept dormant. What will happen when Brian, who is immediately intrigued by Justin, determines that the newest member of his staff possesses sub tendencies that he craves to own? Once chosen, Justin’s life will never be the same again.

The family are all struggling to adjust to daylight savings. How do they cope with the lost hour?    

Brian and Justin have come a long way.  They met back on the streets of NYC.  They had a family and made lifelong friends.  They lived and nearly died together more than once but overall it was a long happy life.  The final chapter of Can’t Do Life Without You has our favorite couple enjoying their senior years with their family in their favorite place, the vineyard. (Don’t worry, Brian and Justin will be happy and healthy at the end of the story. Ch. 16)  If you choose to read the epilogue there will be a death of a Major Charactoer.

The saga of Brian and Justin Taylor Kinney continues.  Their children are grown and life is good.  Brinn hopes to marry Zach soon but a few issues seem to be keeping them from setting a date.  While Brinn and Zach try to work through it, Dan and Marcus are fighting to keep their daughter. After a court case will they get to keep the little girl they had raised for five years or will she be taken away?

For some reason, being in Pittsburgh always got me thinking about all of the ways in which our lives had changed over the years, and all of the things that added up to make us into who we eventually became -- the version of us that has been married for close to twelve years now.

Brian and Justin take a few days in Pittsburgh to just relax and be with each other. However, with Brian's birthday and the anniversary of his accident fast approaching, there's a lot going on in Brian's head.

This story fits into the "Changed" verse.

Leaning back against the leather headrest, Brian let out a shaky breath, already feeling sweaty and a little disoriented. He realized he had two choices here, both potentially impacting his dignity in a major way. As much as he wanted to try to tough it out the additional half hour, to endure whatever happened next in the comfort of a Four Seasons Hotel suite, the reality of the situation was that Lindsay and Melanie’s neighborhood was much closer. And it was absolutely inevitable that Brian's body was going to revolt sooner than later.
