This story is set in the fictional world of Gilead (from the Handmaid's Tale). Don't worry if you don't know anything about that world, I will explain before the first chapter. 

Five years after Justin has fled Gilead he receives an unexpected call that will change his life forever.

In this story Justin is with Ethan (I know, don't kill me! I promise it won't be like that forever and I promise that Ethan is not the bad guy here!). They didn't meet in season 2, in this story they only met after Justin had fled Gilead.

Brian made it to the end of the Liberty Ride.  He had ridden all day with a broken clavicle.  When Justin saw him come around the corner his first instinct was to run to him but he had come this far and Brian NEEDED to finish, not for anyone but himself. After trying to talk Brian into getting checked out at the hospital, Justin took him to the loft and stayed with him for the night. 

It has been two years since The Avenue was liberated from Michael and Lindsay, but now they are coming back and bringing enemies and friends with them. Brian, Justin, The Family and The Avenue are determined to right a wrong, save an innocent and protect their Duchess. But can they do it and if so what will the cost to Brian and Justin be?

It has been five years since Brian and Justin had reunited at their Montana cabin.  Little Aiden is just completing kindergarten.  Although he would always have his health issues, they were well controlled as long as he stayed on his medication.  Gus was the son they are worried about.  He is 15 and completing his sophomore year.  He had gotten in with the wrong crowd.  He’d been living with his moms more and more who were too wrapped up in their own problems that they lost track of what Gus was up to.

Now it is up to Brian and Justin to try and get their kind and caring son back before it is too late.

What happened after Brian said the words    

We are returning to the Universe of a Father’s Hate.  Everyone had been told Justin had died from the bashing and Craig had hid him away for two years. Brian and Molly, working together, found and rescued him. Justin and Brian are now married and living in Britin with Gus and Aaron. Aaron is their adopted son who is actually Justin’s half brother.  Along with the help of Ronni, and her son James, along with Emmet, they have built a busy but rewarding household. But then Justin gets a phone call that will upend the peaceful home they have built.

"I don't know," Brian said tiredly, rubbing his eyes. "I wouldn't put anything past her."
