Brian and Justin's relationship after the bashing.

The reason I picked Summer Of Sin for my admin pick is partly because it is so well written and the other reason is that the amazing Tagsit invited readers to come watch her write and maybe join in. I was curious, so I started watching her write. Then she would chat with those of us that had joined in getting ideas and suggestions. At one point she asked me why I didn't write my own stories, I said because I couldn't. She gave me the encouragement to try and now I love writing. Through her I have met some really great people. Brian, who’s in need of money with which to start his own ad agency, takes Ted up on a chance to appear as a contestant in a reality show the ‘Internet Porn King’ is producing on his website. The only catch is that all the participants will be naked for the duration of the competition. Brian Kinney doesn’t think being confined to a house full of naked, horny men for the Summer will be difficult, but is he really ready for the challenges he’ll face in this lustful and raunchy game? What if one of the challenges is a very young and very inexperienced Justin Taylor? Let the games begin!

Justin chooses to stay in Pittsburgh, instead of leaving to New York. Brian and Justin decide to have a few days for themselves at their new house. Their absence creates panic amongst their friends. One-shot.

I chose this particular story because of the amount of detail and depth involved. The original characters that are introduced add intrigue and charm to an already compelling tale - Jazzepoet

Brian and Justin meet in New York city, in 2005.  Brian is an ad exec and Justin is an intern for Brian's company.    

Set two years after 513. Melanie, Lindsay and the kids are still in Canada. Justin has returned after a year in New York and now lives at Britin with Brian. 'Rage' has broken the 'barriers' and is now popular in the mainstream comic book world. Michael and Justin have been asked to appear on a talk show (think Graham Norton) to discuss their comic book. Brian and Ben as well as Ted and Blake, and Emmett and Drew tag along with front row seats in the audience.

This story is a true piss you off, make you cry, all emotion, encompassing tale that will leave you satisfied by the end. -Jazzepoet   

As we know from the show, Brian promises Justin a week-long vacation in Vermont but instead ends up going to Chicago to win the Brown Athletics account and save his job. Feeling hurt and betrayed, Justin goes snowboarding at Sugarbush Resort without his "boyfriend." Fuck him! But then Brian shows up in the middle of the night and their griping eventually leads to seriously hot make-up sex. Unfortunately, Brian's condoms are not designed to accommodate an impressive cock like Justin's. Breakage is all but inevitable. What happens when it actually occurs? (Considering the fact that the tags say "mpreg," I'm willing to guess that Brian gets pregnant.)

Also, can Brian snowboard without lessons?? What about give birth? Read and find out.

Believe it or not, despite being an mpreg fic, this story is not schmoopy (at all), and Brian and Justin are not OoC. Go, me!

Brian is 35 and has been in a relationship which ended badly. Justin is 25 and a model who returns to Pittsburgh to chase his dream of being an artist. Will their ideas of perfection keep them apart?

Post S5 in an AU where there is no JR (just purely because it simplified the plot).  Something has happened in Toronto and Brian gets a phone call that sends him into action.

This is such a wonderful story that leaves you wanting more. I loved every minute of watching Brian's masks slip away as he accepted his love and appreciation for Justin. It was also great seeing Brian discover he had members of his own family looking out for him. His Aunt and Uncle just accepted him no questions asked, and they respected Brian and Justin as a couple.  So much happens in this story that I believe makes Brian and Justin into the couple they were meant to be - SunshineSally
