High school senior Justin Taylor has two passions in life: literature and Brian Kinney. The reason I picked Summer Of Sin for my admin pick is partly because it is so well written and the other reason is that the amazing Tagsit invited readers to come watch her write and maybe join in. I was curious, so I started watching her write. Then she would chat with those of us that had joined in getting ideas and suggestions. At one point she asked me why I didn't write my own stories, I said because I couldn't. She gave me the encouragement to try and now I love writing. Through her I have met some really great people. I am a sucker for "Brian in Peril" stories and this is one of the best I've read. The author does a great job dissecting Brian's complex mind. Phenomenal writing, interesting premise, and a satisfying ending. Can't ask for much more! -charming1

After Justin leaves for New York, the remaining members of the Liberty Avenue family go about their everyday lives, never suspecting that something serious is happening to Brian. When the realization hits, they find that everyone's lives are irrevocably altered.

Justin chooses to stay in Pittsburgh, instead of leaving to New York. Brian and Justin decide to have a few days for themselves at their new house. Their absence creates panic amongst their friends. One-shot.

I like how the author explores a different, softer, more openly emotional side of Brian after he's had an accident. Plus, LOTS of good sex scenes. LOL - Tagsit

Brian and Justin meet while Brian is interviewing him for a position in his ad agency, "Exhibition". Justin is a confident recent graduate of the prestigious MFA program at CMU. He knows his boyfriend isn't "the one", but he's definitely not searching for "the one" either, and probably doesn't even believe in that stuff anyway. Brian owns Babylon, which was bombed a few years ago and he nearly lost his best friends, and all this has made him view things in life a little differently. He's happy with his life, proud of his son and proud of himself for owning two booming businesses before he's even turned forty. He's still confident, vain and is the most valued dick in Babylon. Meeting Justin, becoming friends with Justin is something that he sort of hates but has absolutely no control over. Especially because somehow, being with Justin is Brian's favorite part of the day. He'd never think or admit that though... maybe.

Brian and Brandon compete to see who can seduce the men on "The List" the fastest. Some of the men listed are unknown to Brian, including a ‘Justin Taylor'. Meanwhile, Brian befriends Sunshine, a newcomer in Pittsburgh who is too young, too romantic, too sweet to be a trick. What will he do when he finds out Sunshine and Justin Taylor are one and the same? How will he deal with his confusing feelings for the young man?    

What if Sunshine had gotten some balls in episode 304 instead of waiting until episode 308?
