Justin mistakenly gets sent to Brian by one of Brian‘s Eastern European clients as his ‘mail order bride’.

Begins during the Rage launch party in 220. Much of Brian may seem out of character here, because... well... who is Brian, really?  

NOTE: Please remember that literary license is being taken with the factual aspect of the medical diagnosis of amnesia here. Although Transient Global Amnesia is a factual diagnosis, it is usually of very short duration, and quite rare, no matter what television and stories try to make of it. My interpretation, since this is fiction, is a bit longer than medically factual.

The new student in Pittsburgh’s North Hills High-School, Brian Kinney, finds himself labeled as an outcast. And now he's about to enter fatherhood with his best friend Lindsay and her wife Mel, who despite their earlier rocky start, are close. However, a few spanners are thrown into his world. Lindsay's grasping friend Dusty is turning her head. Michael's callousness towards Ben is turning his stomach and Claire's cruelty towards his nephews, especially Peter, is bringing back bad memories. When all three situations start to implode, Justin Taylor’s return further messes with his equilibrium. The question Brian has to honestly answer is he the last or the best thing he needs?

Brian made it to the end of the Liberty Ride.  He had ridden all day with a broken clavicle.  When Justin saw him come around the corner his first instinct was to run to him but he had come this far and Brian NEEDED to finish, not for anyone but himself. After trying to talk Brian into getting checked out at the hospital, Justin took him to the loft and stayed with him for the night. 

Summary: Brian is the owner of Babylon and he is a vampire. He has kept his secret and his primal hunger away from his friends’ notice. That is all challenged when he meets a young man that he hungers to taste like no other, the innocent Justin Taylor. The more he resists the more he is called to totally possessing him. Brian soon realizes succumbing to his desire for Justin will lead to an addiction. Can he resist the call to make Justin his for an eternity?
