I love the supernatural twist to the Brian and Justin romance. Very different from other stories and it's well written and entertaining to read. - samcdee

Justin moves into a new loft apartment in preparation for starting his first term at PIFA.  Upon arrival, he finds a “Welcome Letter” from his new landlord, Brian Kinney. But, when he goes to respond, odd things start to happen.  Can these two men reach across time itself to realize their love?  (Loosely based on the plot of Alejandro Aresti's The Lakehouse - one of my all-time favorite movies.)

Justin is living in NYC with his boyfriend, Connor James, who is an actor. He comes home from a trip to Pittsburgh to find a 'Dear John' letter from Connor who's gone to LA for a movie part. The next morning Justin wakes to find Brian Kinney pounding on his door, apparently thinking he's sublet the apartment. Brian is just starting a new job in NYC. Justin has nowhere to go either. It seems like the best solution is to just share the apartment, at least for a while. It pretty quickly becomes apparent though that these two men aren't exactly compatible roomies. But there's a definite attraction between them too. How are these two very different men going to handle cohabiting in a small apartment? Brian’s poor choices for his pain management cause some mistakes that can’t be undone. Yet, somewhere along the way in his drunken state of mind, he actually gets it right…

Brian and Justin meet while Brian is interviewing him for a position in his ad agency, "Exhibition". Justin is a confident recent graduate of the prestigious MFA program at CMU. He knows his boyfriend isn't "the one", but he's definitely not searching for "the one" either, and probably doesn't even believe in that stuff anyway. Brian owns Babylon, which was bombed a few years ago and he nearly lost his best friends, and all this has made him view things in life a little differently. He's happy with his life, proud of his son and proud of himself for owning two booming businesses before he's even turned forty. He's still confident, vain and is the most valued dick in Babylon. Meeting Justin, becoming friends with Justin is something that he sort of hates but has absolutely no control over. Especially because somehow, being with Justin is Brian's favorite part of the day. He'd never think or admit that though... maybe.

Brian and Brandon compete to see who can seduce the men on "The List" the fastest. Some of the men listed are unknown to Brian, including a ‘Justin Taylor'. Meanwhile, Brian befriends Sunshine, a newcomer in Pittsburgh who is too young, too romantic, too sweet to be a trick. What will he do when he finds out Sunshine and Justin Taylor are one and the same? How will he deal with his confusing feelings for the young man?    

I chose this particular story because of the amount of detail and depth involved. The original characters that are introduced add intrigue and charm to an already compelling tale - Jazzepoet

Brian and Justin meet in New York city, in 2005.  Brian is an ad exec and Justin is an intern for Brian's company.    

I thought this story was very different from anything I'd read before. Very well written and could have easily been in the show. -SunshineSally

This was written immediately after S3 ended. It's canon friendly and deals with the aftermath of Stockwell's defeat and Brian's financial situation.
