Carving pumpkins for Thanksgiving, who'd a thunk? Add a bison, a yellow car, some advertising genius, former tricks and way too much turkey to the mix, and you end up with a gay holiday story.    

Who would you be if you had no memory of who you were?     

Begins during the Rage launch party in 220. Much of Brian may seem out of character here, because... well... who is Brian, really?  

NOTE: Please remember that literary license is being taken with the factual aspect of the medical diagnosis of amnesia here. Although Transient Global Amnesia is a factual diagnosis, it is usually of very short duration, and quite rare, no matter what television and stories try to make of it. My interpretation, since this is fiction, is a bit longer than medically factual.

A college boy, rejected by his gay professor, and unskilled in sexual matters, finds lessons in gay-male behavior in the backroom and orgy-room of "Rumors," a gay bar in Altoona, where his life is changed forever.

Through interactions with both positive and negative examples of the gay lifestyle, he is transformed from a solitary loner, unable to make the first move, into the Master of the Backroom at Babylon, as we know him in QAF.

Brian reacts to Justin's departure from the Rage party in typical Brian fashion. A hedonistic, gluttonous visit to the Baths. It is clear that Brian foresaw the split-up and has his own clear evaluation of the situation...but that doesn't make the split-up any less raw or soul-crushing.

Brian struggles to leave what happened in room 1213 behind him, and a scorned trick looks elsewhere for satisfaction. What if gapfiller for 1.05.    

"Can you really think of a reason that Peter would suddenly turn on how he feels about you?" Justin asked, trying to begin the conversation pragmatically. "He knows how your sister is, and she knows, at least to some extent, that the two of you are acquainted now. Don'tyou think she'd have tried every weapon she had if she was running a smear campaign against you?"

"I don't know," Brian said tiredly, rubbing his eyes. "I wouldn't put anything past her."

When Brian's nephew Peter and his girlfriend Alexis come to spend Christmas in New York, things are off to a great start -- until they're not. Soon, it becomes apparent to everyone that old Kinney family scars run deep.

Brian and Jusitn’s marriage was short-lived.  After three years of being a couple and one year of marriage, Justin left and ended up in Seattle.  Now, three years later when Justin arrives two days early they end up up sharing it for a couple days.  Can they work out their differences or will they both find the resolution they needed to live their own lives?

At first, no one knew what to do, and it seemed like we changed direction every few hours. Could we still go to work, as long as we kept our distance, or should we stay home? Should we stay three feet apart, or six? Should we wear masks, or were we okay to go without them?

Now, we’ve gone for almost a month hardly ever leaving the apartment, and the last time we went out for more than a quick errand was the day we helped Gus pack his things and move out of his dorm at NYU mid-semester. And I’m still not sure anyone truly knows what to do. But we’re all doing the best we can. For right now, that’s all we can do.
