Continuation of the "Stripper" story.    Brian and Justin are living in Pittsburgh and Justin is enjoying his success as a painter.  Justin was ready for his life to move forward and enjoy his success, but now someone from his time as an exotic dancer is back in his life.

One of our readers made a request for stories that involved the immediate aftermath of that tragic bashing of our beloved Justin and how Brian responded to it.  I believe it inspired a lot of our writers, including myself.  I do hope you will find this story interesting, although I can't say it will be a lot of fun, considering the subject matter.  Please keep in mind how things did turn out for the couple later on as you reach the end of this story and don't be too sad.

Flashback to Halloween with the family...

A little hair fun has unexpected results.

Folks, those of you who know me know that I am an incurable romantic.  I originally wrote this story while being inspired by the wedding of Prince William and Catherine.  The wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan reminded me of the story and I decided it was time to post it here too.   I hope you will enjoy this little bit of fluff and fantasy as much as I enjoyed imagining it.  Sorry that I never got the chance to have someone make a banner for me for this one.

 Brian is missing Justin far too much after sending him away to NYC. He decides to sit down and put his thoughts on paper and then sends the letter to his lover in order to make clear how he is feeling. Justin responds with a letter of his own that makes just as clear how he feels about Brian's letter.

The idea for this story came to me when I was watching the scene where Brian was emphasizing his 'no apologies, no regrets' theory of life. Mind you, I realize it is stretching the imagination a little in this day and age for anyone to write a letter longhand and send it through the postal service when we have the internet and cells, but I hope you will suspend disbelief in this case. 

This story is a gap filler for the end of Episode 12 of Season 5 to the beginning of Episode 13.  Justin has accepted Brian's proposal and Brian wants to show his appreciation by treating his fiance' to a Valentine's Day he will never forget.  Many thanks to Eka for the lovely banner and Pat for her great help as my beta.  Comments are always welcome.

SUMMARY: It's hard coming to grips with the loss of someone you love. It's harder still when you feel a weight of guilt for their death. And sometimes it's just the bigger picture you're afraid of facing.
