Story #68 in the Sunshine Files

It has been five years since Brian and Justin had reunited at their Montana cabin.  Little Aiden is just completing kindergarten.  Although he would always have his health issues, they were well controlled as long as he stayed on his medication.  Gus was the son they are worried about.  He is 15 and completing his sophomore year.  He had gotten in with the wrong crowd.  He’d been living with his moms more and more who were too wrapped up in their own problems that they lost track of what Gus was up to.

Now it is up to Brian and Justin to try and get their kind and caring son back before it is too late.

They say that revenge is a dish best served cold - well some hotness is always nice isn't it? Meet Ted Schmidt, according to former friend Michael Novotny, he's one of those pathetic suckers put on earth to be taken advantage of. "Can you really think of a reason that Peter would suddenly turn on how he feels about you?" Justin asked, trying to begin the conversation pragmatically. "He knows how your sister is, and she knows, at least to some extent, that the two of you are acquainted now. Don'tyou think she'd have tried every weapon she had if she was running a smear campaign against you?"

"I don't know," Brian said tiredly, rubbing his eyes. "I wouldn't put anything past her."

We are returning to the Universe of a Father’s Hate.  Everyone had been told Justin had died from the bashing and Craig had hid him away for two years. Brian and Molly, working together, found and rescued him. Justin and Brian are now married and living in Britin with Gus and Aaron. Aaron is their adopted son who is actually Justin’s half brother.  Along with the help of Ronni, and her son James, along with Emmet, they have built a busy but rewarding household. But then Justin gets a phone call that will upend the peaceful home they have built.

Story #66 of The Sunshine Files

I bet there are lots of things we don't know about Brian and Justin, and I'm sure some of it might surprise us. 

Brian and Justin have come to the agreement that they are not boyfriends but Justin is the man he wants to wake up with more than once.   When Daphne asks Justin to join her in NYC investigating the apartment James Dean lived in, he joined her. There were rumors the place was haunted and they were getting a chance to work with a team that had a TV show. 

Brian thinks it is silly and tries to get Justin to stay and isn’t happy when Justin chooses time with Daphne over a weekend with him and two other guys he lined up.

I hope you enjoy this short story that moves from Pittsburgh to NYC and back again in a handful of chapters.

As the title says: This is it! The Wedding :)

This one will be a lot shorter than the previous fics in this universe and there will be a lot less angst. As the title says, this is about their wedding and I think we can all agree that they deserve a happy, angst-free wedding, right?!?
